So I figured out what might be my problem with low mpg and low power. My vacuum advance is bad because it won't hold a vacuum at all

I concur. Vacuum leak + less advance on the ignition timing will do that.

Updated...

87 SR5 ex cab 171K OBX header w/ cheapo thrush muffler and 235-70 R15 BFG all terrains and I get 22mpg mix of city and highway....and thats with 10% ethanol winter mix gas. AMSoil 10w-30 in the engine, AMSoil MT-4 in the trans, and Mobil 1 GL 5 in the t-case and difs. Starting my e-fan conversion this weekend and looking into an AFM swap to get that number a little higher.

My truck is running way better now and I've gone 25 miles and the gauge has barely moved but it falls on it's ass in 3rd gear and feels under powered but that's a 22r for ya. And I know it's kinda off topic but when my truck sits and cools down it takes a few seconds for the oil pressure to build up like 3 seconds. But if it's still warm it goes right up. Does this sound okay? And yes my oil filter has the anti drain back valve. Could it be because of winter and I'm running 10w-30 and Lucas in it?

Try a 5/30 syn blend, ( valvoline ) see what happens. I am sure your pressure is o its probably just the gauge.

I run 5/40 full syn Rotela

Yeah I might try that. And the gauge is a sunpro mechanical gauge if that helps and it's routed after the oil filter. And I run the Lucas because it quiets down the valves a lot

Oh and I hear a very slight difference in the motor when the pressure goes up. And will this happening hurt my motor?

Well thats natural. Toyota 22r's n 22re's are Kinda noisy. Oil flow = cooling and lubrication, so a light start up oil is best in my opinion.

Maybe do a tune up with some better ignition parts for a hotter spark or possibly regear for those 31's I get about the same with my 22r and same tire size.
