1995 3.0 auto 4Runner 31's stock. We went to Telluride from Denver and just for grins I filled up with Unleaded plus 91 octane and got 19.1 which is pretty good for 6k foot elevation change. We camped at 11,300 and I flogged it to keep up with traffic and going up some of those passes.

28" tires in town-21mpg
28" tires highway-27mpg
33" tires in town-19mpg
33" tires highway-25mpg
When I got the truck I was getting 13mpg, then I did cap, rotor, plugs, wires, pcv valve, and seafoamed it.

i use to get about 420 miles in a gas tank using 87 octane, with full exhust, 30x9.50r15 wheels. but just before i went on for bigger wheels, my mpg dropped to like about 300 miles per tank. i do about 60% highway and 40% street. now i get about 260 with M/T 31x10.50r15. but i also need a tune up lol

fresh tuneup, intake, fresh re-build, on an 89' 3.0 5spd,33x12.5 tires all city driving and wheelin.........17.6 mpg. Not to shabby. we will see how she does with my new hho cell on it in a week or so. Need to find time to finish building it! Hopefully trying to hit around 25-30 highway and 18-23 city. We will see.

Thats alot of truck for a little engine to push around!
Here is my mpg's for the last three fillups:
1. Moving crap, loaded down to almost the bumpstops. 85% HWY 17mpg
2. Normal driving, pushing it quite often. Empty truck, mixed driving - 17.8mpg
3. Normal dricing, nothing really different then the last - 17.6mpg
Next tankful im gonna up it to 89 octane. Need to run the numbers to see if its worth it or not.

Average is 16s with a 22re 4x4 regular cab rolling on 32s. Mixed city and highway driving. Did no tune up over the summer except a new air filter. Then again my speedo and odo are probably off because of the tires so I hope it's getting a little better than that.
