im to lazy to look thru every page to see if i contributed. if not....
1988 yota p/u 22re around 300,000 actual miles (original)
31x10.50x15 tires
steelie rims
IFS
18 in the city, 24 on the highway. (keeping RPMs below 2500) and max speed limit 65, but usually 55-60
14 in the city, 19 on the highway. (not caring about RPMs) and no max speed... usually between 70 and 90. tho when i run it at 90 it seems to get around 15 on the highway. havent tried it in the city (and dont want to)

99 4Runner, 3 in lift, 33" Cooper STT's (Mud tire) @ 45psi, truck loaded with subwoofer, and a lot of extra crap inside, Auto-tranny, removed Yakima racks, 120# front steel bumper, ~100# in sliders and spare/carrier too...
~16mpg city, 18-19 hwy (driving 65, otherwise I get 16-17 mpg going 70-75)
Remember, weight is a large factor, every pound of rotational mass can be said to remove 10 pounds of weight (for comparison, just a rule of thumb)
also, in the road load equation for determining forces on a vehicle, velocity is squared concerning aerodynamic drag force on the car, so your velocity plays a HUGE role in force against car, and gas mileage...
Also, going 60-65 eliminates a lot of slowing down/speeding up since everyone just passes you, and you can just drive along at your speed without ever coming up on anyone... (In Michigan where speed limit is 70)

Latest tank = 18.6mpg
Im pretty happy. Im still hoping to hit the 20mpg mark.
Me thinks my TPS needs adjustment(possible replacment) and I still need to replace that stupid friggin o2 sensor. There is no way to remove the old nuts/studs. Looks like its gonna be a costly fix...
