we'll start off with this pic again

and this pic

neither one by themselves really make any sense.....and i could stare at all the pictures trying to imagine how it all goes together, so i just went down and started messing with it.
1st i mocked-up this

then i took it off and started messing with the GOLD brace....actually it's a good thing i painted it a different color, it really helped figure stuff out....so i recommend doing that.

bolts just below the driver's side of the water pump.....way out of reach....

and sits like this

and then THIS happened

and then THIS....I argued with the WOODRUFF KEY for a bit until it finally saw things my way and let me get the pulley on

and then i remembered that i never painted the adjusting pulley for the power steering and so, since i was out of all the good paint, i sanded it down and painted it GOLD too.
actually, I'm kinda taking a liking to the GOLD....hehehehehe

and an overview

belts are snugged up as i think they should be, but i am expecting they may need some adjusting after it's running

tomorrow's plan is to do the exhaust...i remember hooking onto the downpipe will probably be a PITA since taking it apart was one.
then it's on to the INTAKE side.......wooooohoooo

Looking great!!!
The exhaust won't be too bad...but what I'd do is the head first. I may have missed something but if I recall correctly you still need to torque that head down. I'd do that before the manifolds.
