i said screw headers and made my own custom crossover that runs under the tranny. i couldn't justify spending $300-$600 on a set of headers just to eliminate the crossover....my 3vz is no powerhouse, but with 10ply Toyo 33's, and 4.56's...this thing has enough power to run around any of these hills. of course i'm not easy on my truck by any means. i take her to 5000rpms daily.

all of these people that "baby" their 3vz's and never get above about 3500rpms complain about not having any power, and mine doesnt have much power until i hit 3250, and it really kicks in at 4000.

and about the orange RTV, i'm not getting it anymore, and i just recently put in a new radiator, for different reasons. when ever i posted that, i hadn't seen any orange rtv in about a month. and i havent seen any since. hasn't posed a problem, YET. *knock on wood*

i want to drive another 4runner exactly like mine and see if there is a power difference. whenever i got this thing, i expected it to be like driving my old '86 pickup, absolutely gutless 22R. but no, compared to my '86, this thing is a monster.
