the tvv and the sensor are dealer parts.....maybe if you are lucky, you can find one on ebay........the tvv is kinda expense...I paid $74 for it at the dealer. the other sensor you can get it in a junk yard.....Now, you paid $1100 for your block but didnt even come with a new oil pump....you should paint the block orange or a different color

that place is decieving (southwestern)....they said 3yr 36,000 mile warranty...what they DID NOT say..is that, that warranty only goes if they pull and install the motor........

i got a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty though....

and yes i'm going to paint the block..but idk what yet lol..i wanna paint the upper intake manifold but i don't wanna mess up all my tape i got sticking off the vacuum ports lmfao

i think i might paint the block for leak purposes...prolly bright red or orange...might paint a lot more stuff..idk yet lol

don't guess this is gonna be done in time for me to take it to work with me, so i'll probably slow down on the build a hair, gonna step it up a notch at the same time too though, i'm going to look into getting a set of cams for it, and i'm going to paint it. lol

OOOOO AHHHHH shiny hahahaha..i just kinda half-arsed the block, just wanted some color on it so an oil leak with show up...

gonna paint the timing belt cover too..and clean up the fan bracket so it's shiny LOL

like i said before, i want to paint the freakin upper intake manifold.....but alas, i have toooo much stuff marked on there...i might try it..idk

my dad ordered the wrong timing set, he accidentally got the one with the spring tensioner, instead of the hydraulic one....i told him to get the hydraulic one, but oh well..honest mistake. so now i gotta wait on that..

i work out of town all week, and come in on fridays, sometimes thursdays...or if it rains HARD i get to go home so even if the tensioner got here tomorrow, i couldn't progress any until saturday lol

yea i'm not TOO far away...i'm going to put some oil in it prolly this coming weekend...unless someone can give me a reason not to? it's been sitting dry for a while..so i can guarantee it needs some.

i rotated the crank by hand this evenin, and it was kinda hard lol..i want to get oil into so i can basically "prime" the system.

still need to clean out my oil cooler, and i'm gonna roughly clean my upper intake manifold.
