    2DoorRunner: did you not use the rear lower control arm drop with the superlift kit? or did it not come with one? i thought they were necessary but never liked how low they drop down

    Got the ifs lift used off a pickup. So no drop brackets. We had a 4runner in the shop that i was checking out though. And those brackets looked sketchy.
    Keep the stock arms, or get/make longer ones.

    4Runner lift kit

    so i was looking into a toytec 2" inch lift with the 2 inch ball joint spacers and new 2 inch coils for the rear will any other mods need to be made with a lift such as this one on a stock truck? will it distort ride quality at all?

    You should get longer shocks, longer brake lines (3, 2 front 1 rear) and a pan hard drop bracket.

    shocks

    hi, i read through most of this long post. i am wondering if someone could tell me where i could get procomp shocks in canada. also i couldnt really find any definite model numbers of shocks that would fit my runner. (its a 91). any help would be great. are there any other shocks that you recommend? i have lc coils and 1.5 bj spacers going in. i dont do that much off road as the roads are covered in snow 8 months of the year.

    If I put a 4inch lift rear springs from procomp on my 1900 4runner I only have to put longer brake lines and panhard drop on?

    Plus longer shocks and likely a bracket to raise the brake (LSPV) bias valve rod:

    Yes and for coil sprung 4Runners, thus the two types of brackets for each application.

    I put in Land Cruiser coils last night after work. $50 for the pair. Should get spacers soon from the same guy.
    Before;

    After;

    Herculiner and a custom rear bumper are on the list for this summer, as are 265/75/16s.

    I just started fabbing my own ball joint spacers. You don't need a CNC or even a bridgeport. All you need is to make a template using a piece of paper, I used cardboard. Pick a datum reference to set your hole spacing off of. I used the back edge of the part and the center of the largest hole. Then take a piece of whatever thickness steel or aluminum you need. Accurately mark the holes and drill. The outer edges don't do anything. Just bandsaw and grind to fit. I will show you what I did with the dimensions. You will see it doesn't look like a hack job either!

    Jaronimo- I would think that 4wheelparts.com could send the shocks to you even down in oz.

    If you have a hard time finding anybody on the web, just pm me. If you want to send payment for the items, I don't mind buying them for you and shipping them your way. Just be forwarned that shipping them down under is expensive. I have family down their and it is crazy how much it is just to get small packages sent to them.

    shocks

    cool thanks for that info 85toyman, awesome site that one, Ive paid normally around $50 for each item Ive bought in the US, I found USPS is reasonably priced and tends to get to me quicker than when I ship items from the otherside of my own country
