Bosal exhaust install

The exhaust showed up yesterday and I'm impressed-it looks a lot better than stock honestly. The bends are a lot cleaner than stock and the steel feels heavier. The flanges are about .25" thick as well. I got the whole system, downpipe, cat, and muffler/tailpipe because my old system had been patched by various hands so many times it wasn't worth saving. Plus with scrap prices these days I should get about $80 for it with the cat. I paid $275 for the whole thing shipped to my door from Parts Geek. I post my impressions once I get it all installed.

I'm also thinking about buying a Bosal Exhuast system to bolt up to my LCE Header and Magnaflow High Flow Cat. I have seen some interesting reviews most people are pleased with what they get for the money. I have to get a new system because someone put too big of a muffler on mine and now it is getting into the drive shaft and driving me crazy.

Keep us updated I am interested to see your opinions on this system.

I replaced my exhaust with bosal from the crosover back after my cat was stolen a couple months ago. So far it has been great; doesn't sound too bad. I would agree that it is bent more smoothly than the previous exhaust was which I think was stock.

I know mine was stock and every bend had some NASTY kinks in it. This stuff isn't mandrel bent but at least it's a little smoother. Either way it will be something of an improvement over stock. Just for kicks I started it up to see what it sounded like with the open downpipe-pretty mean at idle, but just irritating once you rev it That sucks about the stolen cat-scrap on them is unreal these days! Good for me though since I'll make some cash on the old exhaust.

It is so nice just bolting stuff up and having it work. The last one I replaced was all cobbed up and rubbin on the lspv.

+1 for Bosal. Purchased the sytem ( from cat on back ) installed it and have been impressed. Don't know how long it will last, time will tell.

I'm looking at putting on a Bosal Catalytic and Bosal Cat-back exhaust too. Did you mail off your catalytic for scrap or find somewhere local to drop it off? I'm in western Colorado.
