New to the forum!! My 88 4Runner....

Hey there fellas. Just recently purchased my 88 Yota Runner DLX and loving it so far! Been reading up on threads here and got very good info! Just recently picked up and installed a set of 95 Runner SR5 front and rear seats (Tan....interior color is gray, but oh well.) got them for $60 from a local craigslist! My future mod is to do the ZUK mod to the rear since its sagging, upgrade to a cable SR5 instrument cluster cause I hate the DLX cluster, and looking into getting a center console too! The car is not perfect, but its my first truck! Its sitting on stock wheels and BFG AT 30's, which are brand new....wish they were at least 31's but it's cool for now. Don't know too much about the truck but hoping to learn more about it through this site! Here are some pics!

Welcome to YT!

Nice looking 4runner you have there!

BTW sort of hard to see at the bottom, but this should be in the 'New Arrival Section' of the forum. No big deal though, you'll get it down!

Oh! I should have known! Oops! I guess I can post there or just leave it here? Anyways, thanks guys for the compliment! I will soon remove the top soon to make it look a lil' more like a "truck", so I'm pretty ecstatic about that!

Thanks, yeah the truck came with the system already but, I don't think that I'll be hanging on to it cause it'll only draw un-wanted attention, which I don't need. They're Kicker Comp's, which do sound very clean! The sag is kinda getting under my skin cause there is only a 3 inch gap so if it were to bottom out, my passengers including myself would definitely feel the roughness! Hahaha!

yea, that box'll get in the way when you want to put the seats down and chill in the back, too. i dropped a couple 6x9 3-way jbl's and a set of 6" pioneer 2-ways in the body panels with an amp on the rears, sounds great without being a bass machine. the zuk mod seems to be popular, i just replaced the rear leaks and shocks and git about 2" back, plus a lot more stiffness. i can load her for bear now and hit the trail, no prob, no bottom, lol. looking forward to seeing her built!!
