ok like the title says last weekend i was wheeling at my lift block broke and my leaf springs came apart long story short i towed the vehicle home and got a new lift block kit and got everything squared away. however know my brake pedal has no pressure the brakes work but not very well. i can pump the brakes and they have pressure but only for a few seconds. i have tried bleading the brakes several times and have looked everywhere for leaks i cant find any. can anyone help me with this?

 

check to make sure your drums are adjusted. I had this happen and didnt even know tell i hit the street.

 

i checked the drums even put new shoes in there today

 

check for kinks...did you inspect the LSPV? connects to the rod at the axle and is mounted on the passenger side of the frame above the Right rear wheel

 

yea my friend suggested i check out the lspv i looked at it didnt see any leaks anything else i should check on it.

 

bleed brake in this order: RR->LR->RF->LF
if the fluid in the master cylinder got too low you will need to bench bleed the MC...

 

fluid in the master cylinder stayed high. could i have pinched a line and fluid comes through when bleeding but not in operation?

 

bleed the brakes in that order went around twice and know difference.

 

Check again for leaks. If you press down the petal and then slowly lose pressure you have a leak somewhere.

 

here is something else that seems odd to me when the truck is off and you pump the brakes everything is good has good pressure. when you turn the truck on the brakes seem fine but when you put it in gear and rolling it goes to the floor.

 

Actually this is incorrect.

You bleed the wheel cylinder which is furthest away from the master first. Given that the brake line comes down the pass side frame rail, the Left Rear wheel cylinder is the furthest away, using the longest amount of line. So it should be bled LR > RR > RF > LF
