Why not spend the cash for a bender from harbor freight?

From what I have read, pipe is fine for bumpers and sliders. Probably not something you could risk your life on (cage). I am using pipe (got it for free) for some sliders. Call around to different welding shops...maybe they could do it for you.

$80 for a pipe bender:

Otherwise, consider some weldable pipe fittings:

If there is a technical college or high school that has a good metals/welding shop they will sometimes do a little job for free or really cheap. That or just try a welding shop.

pipe is fine for sliders, and bumpers.

find a place that sells weld "L's" they are lot easier to use than the harbor freight bender, or i just suck at bending with it.
