I haven't been up there yet either, but 4X4_Ferg went up there recently - he posted some pics and a trail report somewhere on here.

It is up past 4 Peaks near the town of Sunflower, just south of Payson - I think. I really really really want to go up there as soon as it cools down - and after I finish getting these pesky bugs worked out with my truck. Hopefully I'll be ready to roll by next weekend but who knows.

so...was going back to my truck from work and what do ya know...someone hit my truck!


no damage just some paint missing on the front bumper...the dummy who hit it now has a broken tail light though that's what they get for not seeing my truck which had some damn CONSTRUCTION CONES AROUND IT!! No note or anything. Nice Scottsdale nice.


sorry for any Scottsdale people here but...Scottsdale people sometimes are just...."UUUGGGHHHH REALLY!" ya know?

they seem to be cut from a different mold. generally a more inconsiderate one.

anyways, I'm a new guy. ended up buying a rig this week and took it out to lake pleasant last night. checked off quite a few things on the first trip. scared the woman, got stuck in the mud, climbed a steep/sandy embankment, and even got the back tire off the ground!

I know that truck! I've gone wheelin with Nate before - that thing is awesome, nice score! Check back a few pages in this thread and you'll see plenty of pics of it in action from our trip to Florance.


I know its kinda last minute notice, but some friends and I are heading out to Butcher Jones around 5 if anyone wants to meet up with us. Not sure where our final destiniaton is going to yet - probably the 3rd or 4th cove depending on how busy they are. We'll probably stay out there till around 9 or so. I know the area very well for those who might be concerned about wheelin at nite. I'm not taking my truck, I will be riding with Stacy in her blue FJ and there is some guy coming with in a black Jeep Cherokee - incase you come out there ya know what we're rollin in.

yeah, he did a great job with the it! I'll be changing a few minor things relatively soon. going to bring the front up a little bit. I plan on adding some more light for night trips (day time is too dang hot). And I want to fix/rebuild the steering knuckles, and then a paint job is in order.

So was at Butcher Jones yesterday. Last minute plan with 4Runnin2000 who finally took my advice and removed the running boards! Looks great! The only pics I got on my camera are at the lake of our ghetto fabulous little camp.lol

I was going to post up as well but I was time crunched and figured it was so last minute that no one would go! If I would have just taken one second to post I would've went with you guys man!!!!!!! uggh!!

So yeah one of my BFG all terrains totally exploded while sitting in the garage last week. Bought some(2) very used KM1'S though. WOW...even though used they made a huge huge difference.

When 4Runnin2000 sends me the pics of the trails I will post if he doesn't.
