HELP MY 87_4×4 sr5 pickup. Won't start

 

Make sure it has an engine in it.




I'm kidding! Post details and I'm sure people will chime in. What engine do you have? Is it turning over at all?

Fuel? Spark? Air? Have you seen this truck run before?

The more details you put on here, the better advice you're gonna get.

 

I got fuel i got air new plugs brand new cylinder head and new gaskets vacume lines are hooked up to the best of my knowledge and long searching electrical plugs are back in there spots truck ran even with piston234 flooded with coolant or atleast they was when i pulled old head out i have some marks on my pulley for tdc but also other marking dented in to it mind you this i purchased this truck with a bonded title and it doesn't have its original year engine in it is what i was told

But. anyway here is some pic and more discription and details .

 

am new to being a owner of a toyota and i had a blown headgasket ..so after some time, i gathered up enough money and purchased a new cylinder Head and gasket set .This is the old cylinder head.
New gasket, cleaned head .
New cyllinder head on new gasket .
Almost finished at this point i was saveing more money for new vacume hoses and new v belts,new throttle cable. But all this is my first rebuild , with not much knowledge on toyota or really any thing this deep in maintenance .after lots of searching and diagram after diagram .ect everything is in the right spot to my best knowledge (no leaks im getting fuel all my plugs are back were they came off of but my truck wont start it almost sounds like it is close to starting but nothing checked my plug wires and set timeing on distributor and engine at tdc any advice will help

 

Just removed cylinder head and started cleaning engine block

I just kept everything together after tear down inbetween rebuild
Painted and new cylinder head and gaskets front view
Same side view
Dotting my i's and crosing my t's with wire harness and vacume lines i timeing is set to my best know how and i just had to charge my battery becuse i tryed starting it a lot guna replace battery tommorrow with new one and pray hard to the man up stairs to get me back on the road / trail. Where ever this baby can take me
