suspension 95 4runner
i have recently gotten a 95 4runner sr5 3.0 5speed 4wd
I want to keep the ifs because it is only going to be a light trail vehicle, used for camping and fishing and mudding. no rock climbing intented.
I am new to toyota trucks and dont really know much about ifs either. im looking to get about a 33 A/t of M/t so im thinking 3 inches of lift would be sufficeint.
if yall could point me in the right direction i would appreciate it

Before you get flamed look up some ideas. I wouldn't recommend a bolt on lift kit. I broke mine as have many other people here. Most folks say you can fit a 33x10.5 on a stock suspension w/ little to no rubbing. There are some other ways to do this as well by doing spacers and a torsion bar crank IIRC. Just research the threads here. Do a search, read the FAQ's, etc.
Oh and welcome to the forums and the Yota addictions.

I had a 95 runner, and ran several different suspension setups on it...
The first suspension I ran was the 3" rancho lift... DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT, DONT PRICE IT, ETC...
The next was a 4" Procomp Stage II bracket lift. The front was great, I used and abused it, I even swaped it to another truck. The rear was another story. It actually ripped my axle housing. So I did a leaf swap, and that combo was great.. It performed very well, espically with the rear ARB..
So the question is do you need to run a 33x12.50 or is a 33x10.50 a good option. Now you can run a 33.x12.50 and not rub too bad, can be fixed with a little trimming and pinch weld trimming. I was actually able to fit a 35 with just the 4" lift...
If a 33x10.50 is a good option for you I would look at BJ spacer and rear OME springs.

If you don't change shocks, you'll loose downward droop equal to the amount of lift.
That is, if you install, say, 2" spring spacers in the rear and don't get longer shocks, you'll loose 2" of downward droop.

Spend the rest of your money on armor (sliders, diff. protection, engine and tranny skid, etc.).
That'll give you everything that you need with no adverse change in on road manners.
