Did you mean to say 1.5" BJ spacers? never heard of 2"

For shocks, check out Pro Comps, Old Man Emu, Skyjacker, Tokico, and this.

whats wrong with the replies in your other thread... https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116/shocks-89086/

How much lift are you getting in the rear, that ranchos won't work. I got close to 5" of lift and have ranchos. Check out the bj spacer, cruiser coil thread for some shock info. I have OME in the front and rancho 9009's in the rear, works good for me. The rancho 9009's you have to drill out the bushing a little bit for it to fit, but no big deal.

well im going to have the coil spacers in the back which are 2 inches and then the downey hd coils that i already have in there. but that more or less just brang it back to stock levels. so im thinking about 3 inches in the back and i will have the 2 inch BJ spacers in the front and yes, they are 2 inches, thats what it says on trdparts4u.com thats where i got them

i kinda want to get ranchos cuz my dad has been running them forever and i know they are a good brand, i dont know much about skyjacker or pro comp but i have hear bad things about pro comp.

I don't know about the front, but you can definately use rancho's in the rear. Who is telling you that you can't use rancho's? There probably isn't one listed on their application guide, but many are running the rancho 5009's or rancho 9009's in the rear with their lifts. I forget what vehicle they actually go to, but they fit with just trimming the bushing a little bit. I don't know about the front, but considering that there was a rancho suspension kit, I don't see why they wouldn't have a front shock for a little suspension lift. I guess I don't get who is telling you that you can't get rancho's.

Check out this thread and scroll down to about the 4th post.

ok, so thats good to know about the rear. i can get either rancho 5000s or 9000s. now i just got to figure out the front, i dont see why i couldnt use the same rancho front shocks, the front is not going to be lifted higher than the back. ill have to go down to central 4wd and talk to them so they can look at my truck and see whats best. thanks for the help.

btw, if i was to order ranchos off of say, 4wheelparts.com how would i make sure that they were 5009s and not some other number, i see that there are multiple rancho 5000 series.

You will be able to run "stock" leangth ranchos up front. They are for rigs with 0-1" of lift. They will fit your setup. The BJ spacers only allow for a higer ride stance and 1.5" more droop, they do not allow for a bigger tire. The shock that fits their POS 3" lift will work for you application as that lift too compress to the stock location. As far as the rear I had ranchos with my rear 4" on my 95 before the leaf swap that had 11" of travel.. so you should be able to find a decent replacment. Just check their part numbers for the appropriate size with the appropriate mounts. Dont forget for the rear with 3" of lift you will need a panhard drop bracket, and a brake LSPV bracket as well.

For the front its PN 5145 or 99145, the rear is the 5009 or 9009, the rears are 2" longer than stock, and have 3" more travel. I had 99234's on my 95 when I was running 4.5" rear springs, I never compressed them all the way, but the 5009's are a tad shorter and may work better for you.

I don't know the part number, but when I still had IFS and I had bj spacers I used Rancho shocks designed for the front end of stock Suzuki Samurais. These are about 2" longer than your stock front shocks, and they use the same mounting setup as your stock shocks. Perfect fit.

sweet, yea i was reading about that on one of your other posts. sounds like a good idea. once i get my lift (taking forever) ill see how long a shock i need and go to central 4wd and look to see if they have anything like that. thanks for the help.
