Budbuilt with 2" BL Question?

I know I'm gonna get yelled at...looked some for other threads, just short on time.
I've got my trk at shop for 2" body lift and ordered a transfer case skid from BUdbuilt. He asked me about BL and told him yes so he is gonna do something different? with skid plate.
I think because shifter will be in different place with cab higher?
He said something about changing motor mounts? too
Anyone know or can point me in right direction?

I think he was talking about a drivetrain lift.

Just gonna bend the crossmember so the trans and tcase sit an inch higher in the frame. Skid is the same, just the crossmember is bent less than "normal"

The shifter will sit 2" lower with the body lift. The drivetrain lift of 1" will get it to it's final resting place of 1" lower than stock.
No changes to the motor mounts for a 1" lift UNLESS YOU want to. Then see Roger Brown here http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/MotorMount.shtml

Does that help? If not, just gimme a call and I can walk you thru it!
Bud

I didn't realize I'd need to do this, but I want all upgrades to be first class so I went to link posted above to research...Makes sense to raise "all the drive line"

Then cancel your order, and get the bodylift (and drivetrain lift) from 4Crawler. His customer service is at least as good as Bud's (which is saying something 'cuz Bud's is VERY good!)

A drivetrain lift is a good way to go, gets rid of that low hanging crossmember in the center of the vehicle. Get the BB crossmember made for 1" - 2" of lift and raise the engine if you want. Helps offset some of the body lift issues like radiator and shift lever interference:

Here is what a 2" DT lift does for under-truck clearance, stock:
