A couple more pictures if anyone's interested: Just click on the first folder, then click on each picture to enlarge it.

No, it's a free site up to 2 megs of pictures - Cory got to it and I just tested it and it's working for me so I don't have a clue as to why you can't get on.

I can not see your first pic anymore.
Also you can not link us to your album.
Montypics doesn't use an album feature like Webshots.

We can only view each pic you put an URL into here for.
Don't know why your 1st link doesn't work anymore.

Here we go - this puppy is a three piece bolt-on and doesn't move when put to the test : The following 5 pictures we're fitting the plates.

The next 3 pictures we're sizing armor:

This picture was meant to show the bottom of the bumper is 30.5" from the ground - we are in the process of making a small loop under the bumper (easy on/easy off) to make it street legal.

This picture is opposite side armor:

This picture shows front sliders and rear sliders/skid plate - I've got a tube on the inside matching the lower outside tube - 8" apart and we'll weld a steel plate between the two to act as a skid/slider if the wheel slips off to the outside.
http://pics.montypics.com/Joe/2003-0...6_PICT0042.jpg

These next two pictures show the braces for the armor. The first shows just the front brace, while the second shows both.

That's all folks.

Here's a couple more pictures of the rear bumper/side armor and rear skid plate.

Here's the rear view of the set-up with the loop bumper supports folded up ready to be dropped. The skid plate is made from 3/16" steel and is 9" wide.

http://pics.montypics.com/Joe/2003-0...9_PICT0004.jpg

Here's what the loop bumper looks like when installed.

Here's the loop bumper folded up ready to be stored behind the drivers seat or where ever you want to store this compact creature.

http://pics.montypics.com/Joe/2003-0...0_PICT0016.jpg

Here's a hi-lift using the side armor as a lift point - Solid as a rock.

Yes they do. North Dakota State Bumper Law states the bottom of the rear bumper for a class XXX shall not be higher than XXX inches. For 1/2 and 3/4 ton pickups the maximum height is 27.5 inches. Minnesota is 25 inches I believe. Each State has there own bumper law height.

The bumper laws in most States are rarely enforced individually UNLESS the height is really in the clouds but if the driver draws attention to himself in other areas such as loud pipes, tires that stick way out beyond the fender flares, laying rubber around town, speeding etc. they just add the bumper citation to the original ticket. In some instances (rare) the authorities will make the driver park his vehicle until the modifications are corrected to conform to State Law.

Since State Troopers/local traffic police are on the roads mainly to produce revenue, I'll play it safe.
