Question Auxiliary power to towing hitch

I have a 2001 Toyota Sequoia. It came with a 4 pin wiring harness for the hitch. I need a 7 pin harness with an auxiliary power wire, but the 4 pin doesn't have the aux. power. Where can I tap into an aux power line? There's an auxiliary power port in the back, but I can't get to the line easily.

Thanks for your help.

Jim

You can cut of the 4-pin flat and rewire that to your 7-pin. Then run your own wires for aux power and brakes. You will also have to tap a source for backup lights for the 7 pin.
