Very nice scuba! I am interested to see where you end up mounting the switch and how you run all the wiring. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to mount it under the radio. Seems like that'll be the easiest route to take.

LOL. I actually just vacuumed the thing out a week or two ago. But, obviously, I didn't put too much effort into getting between the center console and seats. Its a tight fit in there making it a PITA anyway.
Thanks for the "beast" compliment though.

Looks like a cigarette wrapper and a receipt of some sort.
I'll paint them black eventually, right now I'm just focusing on getting them wired up and working.

Pics of the mirrors mounted... They'll be painted black eventually..

Today I hacked up the storage thing under the radio and got the switch ready to slide in.
I also extended the wires for the mirrors and ran them to under the kick panel. I just have to splice in the connectors for the mirrors and for the switch, then route the wires and they'll be functional..

Thanks man. And no joke. I'm really tired of manually aiming mirrors.

That looks great, Scoob! .....your Taco is still one of my fav's on here. 'READY, WILLING AND ABLE WORK/PLAYHORSE!', LOL. Still my favorite color from Toyota, too... and I agree on the leaving it chrome... on yours, as said, it actually does look good without being 'blingy'. lol.

Nice work

How you liking your suspension set up? Does it ride nice? Does your rear sag at all?
Would you recommend your set up?

Its pretty okay. The 882's up front are a little much for my light single cab. If I had a winch they'd probably settle a little but, from what I can tell, they haven't settled at all after 7 months and lots of wheeling. The 881's were done, clapped out, and settled down in less time than that.
The rear, well, I'm pretty happy with it. It has deff sagged a bit over 2 years. Maybe only an inch or so, though.
If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone with the same 882's up front and the 3" Allpro Expo leafs with 12" short body 7100's.

No updates on the mirrors. They're still waiting for more wiring.

I did however install a new EGR valve yesterday. I've had the P0401 code (insufficient EGR flow) for almost 8 months. Seems to run a little smoother now.

I went out wheeling this past weekend and ran Pilot Rock and Dishpan on Saturday, slept at a cabin in Big Bear, woke up to snow, and then went and wheeled John Bull on Sunday. Was a great weekend.

Some pics a friend of mine took:

We "partied" in the cabin. It was nothing much. A few rounds of shots, some of my famous sloppy joes, topped off with a bunch of good beer and a late night until like 3.
