Yea dude, there was freezing rain coming down on us the whole time. Better than it being hot and dusty though, IMO.

Oh, I second that, in most wheeling adventure situations. I guess it depends on the terrain, in some instances. I've been up in the Sierras where, in spots, you have to get out and dig out, move wood, etc., often under heavy cover, .....where I'd just assume it be warm and rain-free, lol. But yes, ...it can get HOT AS HELL on those trails, and our rigs turn into Mobile-Crockpots! lol.

Hottest adventure in wheeling for you? Mine was in Inyo County, Wheeling near the Kern River, .....125*F! lol. Our stupid buddy in his Ranger followed us and almost got washed into the Upper River, 2 times, till I finally walked back and tore the keys out the ignition, put them in my pocket and told him, "Hey,... you either get in my truck or wait till we come back to give you your keys back to follow us out!" hahaha.

Any new developments with the Green Machine?

Bumper oops.

Okay, so I never really wanted to post this stuff but I guess I will..

Back in november when I was in moab, I was on "The Escalator" obstacle on Hells Revenge. I got so twisted up that the passenger rear side of the bumper was pushed into a wall. It ended up buckling. My best guess is due to poor preparation on the materials which equals poorly penetrating welds.

A couple days later.. That doesn't look right.

Anyway, so I preped the metal well and get it welded back on. With the intentions of gusseting it up eventually. Well, fast forward to this past weekend. John Bull trail, Big Bear California.
The other side fell apart.

Anyway, so I just got it welded back up and beefed both sides up a little bit.
I promise, I CAN weld well.

Nakey little thing.

Welded up.

Anyway, hopefully it shouldn't fall apart again.
Try not to flame me too bad

It was just this past weekend. Like I said, I've been hesitant to post up about it.

Trdparts4u.com
I'm pretty sure wheelersoffroad.com has them too.

No new updates, I'm visiting family and friends in SATX for the next couple weeks. Going wheeling tomorrow, so I'll have some pics to share.

Scuba, you're letting the world down. You're like a YotaTech god, yet no updates in what feels like years!

LOL, Rich. I just got back from Texas a week ago. I've been so worn out from my vacation that I haven't even wanted to touch the truck.

Though, I've got Wednesday- Friday off of work this coming week. So I plan to finish wiring up the mirrors and get those working, as well as mounting the switch for it. I also need to pull off the front bumper, cut the side tubes a bit more (the tires rub the inside, won't hurt the tires but it is annoying) and finally cap them off after about 9 months.
While mounting up the bumper I need to give it a few good tack welds to the frame. The way its attached doesn't cut it and it allows the bumper to flex WAY too much. After that I'm going to touch up the front bumper and the sliders. Got my work cut out for me this week.

A couple pics from wheelin when I was in texas.

I had to pull this guy up and out of this undercut. It was pretty gnarly and I got some more body damage on the drivers side door here.

Around 1330 miles. Right about 19.5 hours straight each way. Truck ran great the whole time too.
