YES, "A lot steeper in person"... My nephew was even noticing that and he's 12, lol. (when he filmed it in Havasu and then watched it later).... GO-pro(?) cams show better, how steep or rugged things are, I think. But in this case, like with my nephew, it's with someone standing OUTSIDE the rig..... WEIRD.

Anyway, GREAT video, loved watching you..... HAVE FUN! I'm glad you got this runner, as well, Jason.... Good idea!

Take care, Buddy.... Hope you're having a great 4th! Are you home and heading out/partying in/fireworks?? lol.

Wellllllll, there is the factor that I've seen NEARLY EVERYTHING else already, hahaha.... But you're saying you saw the previews for Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer and it didn't look COOL????? haha... I saw a preview in the theater, while watching "Brave", hahaha... It looked very trippy... not stupid(as it VERY MUCH sounded to me, when seeing the poster, haha).

Sooooooo, Ted, ...that looks lame to you as well? haha... Probably crude, ...no, DEFINITELY, haha.. But the trailer looked pretty funny. It's the Family Guy dudes.... Anywhooooooo, lol... What's looking interesting to you, Jason? Curious whatcha like. I like LOTS of different stuff... But BY FAR, mostly, "Thriller/Murder mystery" and "Sci-Fi" on occasion(Like Predator, Serenity, Pandorum, The Thing)..

Hope you've had a good one so far, guys... hot or not!

I've been in the pool, as it's warmed up quite a bit! Gonna grill Rib Eyes and Corn Cobs and Squash... Then eat my BIG HUGE BANANA CREAM PIE!

I would love to get a bunch of us together and do some wheeling terry, I enjoy all the guys I wheel with but most of them want to run the hardest lines they can find and thats not my style not knocking them just saying. I think most of the guys I talk to on YT would want to run more the same style trail that I do. what Im saying is get that runner done so we can get in the woods, and dirtdober that meens you to lol. thanks for checking in guys.

Nope, sorry... But he's local... I'll see him again. I'm using my 100$ Office Depot Gift Card for a new Point and Shoot, soon... That way I'll always have it with me. Another guy I know has a 3800 Buick V6 EFI motor in his 80 PU 4WD on 40's... Thing is FAST! lol.

Ok guys I need some opinions please, I have never been happy with the tri spoke wheels on my runner, I have been keeping an eye on CL and even been priceing new ones that is just out of the budget at the moment. so I decided to just do somthing with what Ive got I know a lot of guys just paint them black and run them that way and they look good much better than stock but with my runner being such a dark color I just dont think it would look rite so I anded my own touch.

stock wheel

and what I did with mine.

Im not sure if Im happy with the results so please give your opinions in the end I can always paint them all black.

another thing I need help with is just recently somtimes when I turn I get a ping sound from the front end Im leening towards ball joint but opinions on this issue would be greatly apreciated aswell. thanks for checking in.

I'm gonna vote all black. Black and brown together is my idea of a good day.

When the 99's lower ball joint started going it was making a few random popping sounds and grease could be seen on the non-ball joint side of the a-arm. The only thing close to a ping sound I can remember was when the axle cap came loose on the 96 and was tinking a bit. Well, that and random rocks that got stuck in random places. Not saying ignore those ball joints though, better safe than sorry if it's over 150,000mi.

I also vote for all black. Good job though. I've wondered what that would look like.

You might put your wheels on craigslist for trade. Somebody might want them. Just a thought.
