truck pulling to the right

truck pulling to the right
Installed two new tires today- front end aligned- my truck was pulling to the right- still pulling to the right- everything seems tight- I installed new struts last year- ball joints seem ok as well as the tie rod ends- my steering rack is leaking though on the right side- can this cause the truck to pull to the right?? thanks!!

Is it consistently pulling to the right or is it intermittent? If it’s consistent, I’d say you got a bad alignment. If it’s intermittent, then look for worn parts. It could be your steering rack, if it’s leaking there is wear, and where there’s wear there’s movement.
Your rack may need adjusted, there are threads on here for adjusting the steering rack guide bushing.
It could also be a bad control a bushing.
Or or possibly the steering rack mounts themselves. If you can get the truck up on a lift or stands, a little poking and pulling with a pry bar should make it evident.

please post the printout from your alignment. the numbers tell a story.
Please define "pulling to the right" is it drifting or if you let go of the wheel does it veer toward the ditch? Is this ALL the time or does it seem to be only on certain roads?
the leaking won't cause a pull, but like fiero mentioned it could indicate wear. and if you replace your rack you need to redo the alignment.

sorry- forgot the details- truck is a 2000 TACO- if you let go of the steering wheel, the truck pulls immediately to the right- it will completely change lanes in about three seconds- consistently- always happen when you let go of the steering wheel...thanks!
