Talking Don't ya hate it when ya gotta buy new tools

Well.. I bought rims for $100.. Then about $75 for polishing supplies... Then I decide I need a new Dremel tool to work around the rivets better.. (Damn, don't ask the cost of this baby  )

Ya know when you are looking at a tool and you say"Well, for only $10 more I get this.. But once you are at that point, for a little more you get this.. ect ect... Well, lets just say it didn't go over $100 :pat:

BUT, don't tell my wife because it is damn close to IT!!

Dremels are awesome, I've gotten so many uses out of mine, not to mention its one of my favorite tools.
Here's what mine looks like, I didn't feel like getting the camera out and taking a pic so I just found this one.

Yea, I like that one too! The flex shaft kinda sold me on this one. The kit with flex shaft was only $10 more and it was $25 by itself. I bought a "buffing" set with a bunch of extra wheels.. Now i have to start buying some more bits.

Gee.. I wonder if e-bay has any deals??

Thats where I need to start looking, some of those things are expensive. I know when I was case modding the fiberglass reinforced cutoff disks were 5$ for 4 or 5 of them.

Yeah I have the top of the line kit...around 99.95 at Lowe's. Ever kind of bit you could possible want and with the flex-shaft.

I use it mostly for sharpening my brushhog (huge mower for fields for you city folk) and my other mowers and chainsaw chains and things.

Dremels RULE!

I used to have a battery powered Craftman version. It died a long time ago and was never replaced. I like the flex shaft one. Where's the best deal for it?

Sweet man I just came across my dremel kit while PACKING my house today. I just emptied out my toolbox.. All 11 drawers of it.. Man did that suck. I did find some stuff though that I been looking for for a while. I have a whole shoebox just full of clips, bulbs, switches, ect that I've bought or replaced in the runner. Then there was the entire drawer of nothing but electric stuff liek wire, butt connectors, voltmeter, ect... fun stuff

Probably where I'll go then next time I got a project coming around. Ebay has been coming in pretty handy. I bought all the sandpaper and stuff I needed to do the body work on my truck from a place on there that is local, they sold it to me for a little more than what they sell it on ebay and it was still pretty cheap. So cheap that I bought too much But that always means leftover for another vehicle.
