Bike Rack/ Storage Box

Just finished my in bed bike rack/ storage box and thought I would post a few pictures. I used 3/4 in. scrap plywood and 4 drawers I saved from a desk we gave away.
Unpainted

Painted and installed

Closer (out of focus) view. I used Chris King headset caps for drawer pulls.

Thanks.

In the sides of the bed there are slots that fit a 2X lumber across. I build up the plywood to fit in the slot so it keeps the box from sliding. I can still lift it out if I need to.

Man! the drawer pulls are probably the priciest thing about it-do you work in a bike shop, or just trash a lot of headsets?

Okay, I'll bite. how do you get your bikes out (I'd guess the crankset would hit your drawers (and the bars would keep you from leaning the bike over)

I have never trashed a King headset. Actually, I own a bike shop or more accurately, it owns me.

Just saw the tundra note in your sig as well. Certainly some extra room. Looks nice (and everyone's right about the bling-bling CK pulls - that is, they look great)
