Its probably a very heavy unit...not to mention that rubber mat helps a lot. I have my box bolted to the rear of the passenger seats with brackets. Its kind of annoying when heading to the lake cause the subs come out to make room for my Rocky Mountain.

hey i have a question for you guys that install amps and stuff like that. i installed my amp and sub a couple of months ago. i have the amp in the back on the floor. so this week i let some kids sit in the backseat because they needed a ride. i drop one of them off and then i notice my sub stopped working. so i go and look and see that the dumb kid broke the rca connector right in the rca inputs, so the inner part of the connector is broken. so i get pretty mad then i plug in the broken rca's back in and keep on driving. then today the sub stopped working. i used a tester light to look for power. i take out the rca cables cuz theyre garbage. i get power in the power part of amp and that other part where the radio tells amp to work but not in the positive speaker wire. so i was wondering does the speaker wire only get power when the rcas are connected?

When the kid broke the rca plug, he might have broken the rca solder inside the amp also..If it's under warranty, you might want to send it in..

You need to use the rca that says input... The outputs are for if you need to hook into another amp (instead of using a splitter you use output for 2nd amp.) Try very carefully to get tips out... Thats the problem.. Before when you hooked up the broken rca, it must have gotten connection, but not a good one(cuz its broke) and lost connection which lost sound. I had my friend break rca inside planet amp before and we used small metal rod and superglue on end to get it out... BUT BE CAREFUL AND PATIENT!!!

That's a big sub box! Is the box 12 cubes after displacement? That does looks good, tho.

Oh the 2 longest ones?? They are connected to the 2 that tie into the base (the ones standing straight up) Also, I'm going to tie it into the port (the port is going to fit snug between both braces!) Port will be 30 inches by 4 inches by 12 inches... 33 hertz!! I'm debating on having the first layer inside the box or just have both layers on top of box...

Chea, It is actually 14 cubes LOL!! I sorta miscalculated!! Or, I can Make it less, but like I said I'm debating on having first layer inside box or having both glued and on top of box... I just don't know... If I do, I think it should be better am I correct?? Then I will have 3.5 cubic per sub!!
