97 ltd rear is sagging.
I know that the 3gen runners are not supposed to sag, but mine does a little, even though I have no weight on it, is it posible to bring the rear up about an inch installing longer shocks?

No, longer shocks will not help at all. You need better springs. You can order Downey or OME or PP rear springs that will fix the sag. Do you still have the stcok shocks under there? Look at this website for a lot of good information:

There is a recall on the 3rd gens also.
If its a 4x4 you will get: New rear springs and bumpstops.
2x4: New rear bumpstops.
Call the dealer with you VIN and see if you are eligible. You should be.

Halza, I had the same problem with my '97. Mine sagged so bad, it would bottom out when I had 2 people in the back seats. I replaced them with Performance Products springs (this was before the recall was announced). These springs are a lot stronger than stock. I have never bottomed out even with my rig full of camping supplies and pulling my 18' boat.
