Be sure to post that list. My 98 just hit 90K and I would rather spend the money on some new shocks instead of labor.

I tried to open that checklist but it is not working, and look likes it requires a password.

Yeah, my 94 Runner also has 90,108 miles and I would like to know what in that checklist that needs to be done to keep the rig in top condition. I know I can do the maintenance myself, but I need the checklist as a guide to perform all the preventive maintenance. I have just drain and refill the engine with Amsoil 10W30 synthetic motor oil and 75W90 on both front/rear differentials.

$453.00 is a lot of money for me. I could have saved that money for future mod, plus I would like to do the maintenance myself, I will have a peace of mine knowing all maintenance was done right the first time and on top of that, just have fun in my garage. If you can get that checlist to work, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Holy crap! That's a lotta money for what they actually did, unless you can't change your own plugs I'd say you could have done *all* of that for the cost of parts (and I pay half that much for plugs from the dealership, for comparison)...

Hell there's a lube place out here that would have done most of that for the cost of a $30 oil change.

Not to make you feel ripped off or anything, but hopefully others won't be paying that much for what that really is... FWIW I called Toyota to see what the tuneup actually entailed they were advertising for $130; new plugs, and they inspect the emissions equipment and belts - *I* can look at stuff and replace plugs for $12! Hardly seems worth it...

thanks for the check list. yeah i could probably do most of that stuff myself. i'll go to my mechanic and see how much he'll charge for it and if its more than $100 i'll do all the stuff i can do myself and have him do the other crap.
