approaching 90k miles

it's almost that time again guys...i searched for a 90k miles thread but only found the 120k one. i was wondering what toyota does at this service maintenence? anyone have a itemized list like for the 120k? Also, before i got the car, my father took it in on the regularly scheduled maintenences, but i was wondering if during the 60k service, do they change the timing belt or do you guys think it is due since i'm approaching 90k miles?? thanks for any input!

It has taken me a while to get to your question.
I had to sign-up for an account and wait to get
activated before I could reply. I'm the newbie for the day on the new account list. Anyway I have the 2002 4-R maintenance guide and to follow is a list of services suggested in the maintenance log for suvs & trucks: 90,000 Miles or 72 months
(which is pretty much the same as for 120,00 but these are in addition to.)

-Replace air cond filter (Highlander, Rav4)
-Replace non-platinum spark plugs(Seq,Taco,Tun, 4-Run)
-Replace timing belt(except Rav4, spec Hiland &
spec Taco models)

Inspect the following:
-Limitied-slip differ oil(4-wd Hiland, 4-wd Rav4)

Addit Maint for spec oper Cond:
-Replace auto trans fluid(all models except Hiland & Rav4)
-Replace manual trans oil

I hope this is of help. cpw

No problem. I have learned the hard way about
keeping on schedule with maintenance. I just
traded in a '98 Dodge for my Runner. The Dodge
didn't have freon put in from the factory. Problems didn't show up until after a scheduled
maintenance to flush the radiator was due. And be-
cause it wasn't done on time they would not stand behind the warranty. Two years later we were still having problems. Plus problems from the re-
placement of the radiator, they over tightened a hose than caused another expensive breakdown and
then the freeze plugs went. That's a lot of trouble for a '98 I got new. So take my advise,
keep ahead of schedules. Sorry, I guess I needed to vent. cpw
