60K or 90K timing belt? for a '94 4Runner
I just recently purchased a '94 4Runner with the 3.0. It has 62K on a timing belt replaced by the previous owner. I have heard conflicting information regarding the service interval. I'm not sure if the interval was increased to 90K for the later style belts. I have also searched and searched old logs but was unable to find out either way.
Secondly, does the 3.0 an interference design, so if it does go will I eat my valves?

As far as I know all 3.0s had a 60k replacement for the timing belt. 90K came with the later 3.4s.
And no interference on that engine, your valves will be fine if it breaks.
