Nice stuff on the pass front! How the clearance between the firewall, and up under the battery?

I picked up an AUX fuse block from 12 volt guy a few mouths back for my other truck but mounted it in the rat instead.

I'm also going to install the push button start that I got for the other truck, in this truck. I'll end up getting me one for the 80

Finally did my push button start/toggle ignition overt the weekend. Stupid easy to do. I soldered everything and used shrink the for the "professional" look. Also because I hate not doing stuff right. Tucked it all up under the dash. Out of sight out of mind.

Yeah, it's for the 87. My 80 has a nicer bed than that one. I love the first gen beds, they've got a cooler look. And what better way to ensure the namesake of this truck? Plus I've grown tired of not having a place to put my junk and I've been persuaded my some guys on the Marlin board to put a bobbed bed on it.

In the process of making a custom gauge cluster. Using glowshift gauges and some sheet aluminum that was at the shop. Once it's all said and done I'll have a tach, speedo, water temp, oil pressure, fuel level, and probly a volt meter. Only problem I've run into thus far is glowshift does not make a fuel gauge that matches the ohms and direction of the factory Toyota fuel sending unit. So I am thinking of getting an aftermarket fuel sending unit. Anytime have one v that they would choose over another?
