The bumper is suppoda wrap around the side one of these days. I need to fill the welder bottle though. Im keepin my eye out for an e locker right now, it seems better for a DD. And I decided no on the lift. I wanna SAS later down the line, after I get my 4runner done.

Blew the alternator again. IDK what is causin it but, its lasts bout 6 mos. I think it may be s****y rebuillds. Thank god for lifetime warranties. They are a pain to pull though. The only way I have found to get them out is drain the radiator and pull the lower hose or force it out the top

You sure you're not dealing with an electrical gremlin somewhere? Bad ground or such? Broken insulation in one of the Alt. harness wires, grounding on something?

In MANY of these rigs, I've only had one parts store alternator go bad out of MANY. I guess it's possible... but I'd hate for you to have to keep doing this....especially out on the trail, eh?

When you return it, ask if they'll load test it for ya and see what it's putting out, if anything. If it's nothing, then I'd guess, if you've dealt with this a few times recently, ... could in fact be a gremlin of some sort, Zach. If it's minimal, 10V or something, ... guess it could be bad ones, hmmmm.

I am beginning to think it is a gremmlin. Although, this one will charge at about 2400 rpm but nothing less. Regulator maybe? I wil have them test it to help narrow down what it might be. Thanks Mark!

For your sas you should do a trail-gear. Great brand! They have a lifetime warranty on everything.

If you want a weber redline check eBay or the weber site they have links to used ones on both

Thanks for the info lol. The SAS is taking a back seat until I get my 4runner all done and ready to drive.

HEY! How ya been? I'm not really sure whats next for this one. Now that I have it running great where I want it, most of my money is going to get sunk into the 4runner.

I decided that I am going to save up for a Blazeland long travel kit for this one. So I have the best of both worlds.
