I just put a cam I'm my friends truck. To be honest I couldn't tell if it.had anymore power. Then again my perspective is a little jaded considering with I have in my runner I drive every day. Hahaha I almost got hit in traffic pulling out because I didn't register that it wasn't my runner I was driving.

I have heard a few people say that about the cams. Wish they would have spent the money on something else. Ya can gold plate a turd but its still a turd haha.
I did that right after I switched to this truck from driving my dads Powerstroke. The get up just doesn't exist.

Yeah. It looks pretty good. He has since added wheel spacers to the front, welded the rear, and changed his springs around. Thing is still stiff as a board. Its maiden voyage went without a hitch too. Did exceptionally well

Can you still pass Colorado emissions with it?
How are the vacuum lines routed/emissions system setup? Pics would be good.

It may give it some more get up an go. I just can't say much on it.
I'm sure fuel injection would do wonders for your rig.
As far as for me I'm over the hole carbaration thing.

Yeah, it's not a rocket off the line, ...but I DO, most definitely notice a difference having driven in mine without it and then with it on the same hills, etc. It was like a gained a gear on the hills/longer hard grade passes in SoCal.. That and the header get my lil 22REEKER up to 90 without much trouble... NEVER had a stock 22RE do 90 unless it was coming down a 50% grade! hahaha.

True enough though... it's NOT a 'WOW' thing.. it's more, "Hey, that helped", lol.

I will ask him. Maybe you want to shoot me your number and I will pass it on to him.
I do know for sure that he is emissions exempt because it is registered here in Bailey. So I couldn't guarantee he would know that answer.

My buddy has one that he had made at Front Range a while ago that he can't use anymore. Gonna try to snag it from him. I appreciate the offer though

Nice build thread! I only got through 5 pages so far but I really like it. I am wanting to make a center console / speaker box like you did.

A lot of the custom work you do is badass. That battery tray is cool.

I can't wait until my truck is back up and going. I want to explore the mountains around Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Colorado and take photos of all the crazy remote places and cool sites.

Heck yeah! You will like what I come up with next.... 4 inch long travel lift. Buddy has one down at his place that I am going to trade a spare 22r head, an 81 rear axle and a $100 for. Plus I am getting his old BFG Mud Terrains in 33x12.50 15.
Also lookin at welding my spare 4.10 3rd before our next wheeling trip in 3 weeks
