Well today I tackle half of the on going project I've been wanting to do make new brackets so I can put the winch in. Don't know if i mention it but the bumper was originally off of an fj80 so we had to cut and weld to fit. Put the winch on and didn't have enough room for the bolts do to the fj bracket interference. So new bracket was manitory. Dont have pic of the custom brackets but it was made from 3/8 inch sheet metal. Well pic....

Out with the old

Nice looking bumper. I keep wanting to build a new front bumper for mine but keep putting it off. I really like the look of that though.

Aw right got the winch in and dam wires were to short. Haha I didn't want to mount the Box outside cause I live in an apartment and kids might be messing with it so I was thinking about putting it the engine bay. Ill have to run to Home Depot or something to get longer wires.

Alrighty.... Been driving with the winch plus bumper for a while now. And dam!, this thing is heavy. Could really feel the weight of it when hitting bumps. But after a while I guess I got "kinda" use to it haha

O yea. I told myself to get some alloy/aluminum wheel but cam across this set of soft 8's that I couldn't refuse. Got some free a/t's that came with it too. Gona slap it on the runner n keep those mud t's off for a while.
