I'm way ahead of ya! .............just can't seem to finish them, with all that's going on. hahaha... BUT, soon... got my last package from superbrightleds.com that I'll need for now... So my rear lighting and .50" panels and fully insulated and sound deadened cargo area will be coming to fruition/completion, SOON, I hope. (got some of it done already... most actually... and got some lights in )

Got the cherry bomb installed today. It was a cold day so welding it didn't bother me much haha sounds nice too not too loud with the test pipe. Gonna keep it like that till next smog in two years haha but I do need to add a hanger in ther just hanging right now

Weld, sure just come in by hahaha I think ima throw a cat converter under there too loud with the test pipe haha or maybe I'm just not use to having a exhaust haha well c.

Alright got the used cat in today and exhaust sounds a thousand times better IMO haha. Next, who knows; maybe a rear bumper haha

Went to play with snow today nice amount of snow. Was gonna go all the way to the trail head but was only one truck so i decided not to.


Road was nice n dry but had some wet frozen spots also

Right on with the snow wheelin! Smart idea not going all the way in by yourself. I've done that few times, gets kind of lonely waiting for three hours while your buddy comes and finds you. At least the snow wasn't incredibly deep

Thanks guys. Trying to keep the truck looking good but it's hard haha it's hasn't been snowing for a couple of weeks and really sunny. Snow wasn't that deep but really steep up ahead haha

 

Alright time for smog on the 4runner and the Downey headers didn't pass inspection cause there's no carb number in it! (Old school version;I think) so now my truck has the Downey. O yea, runner passed with flying colors! Haha

 

That's always a pat on the back in California. . My date is slowly approaching and I'm tending to get a little concerned haha. Passed with flying colors 2 years ago though!

 

That's what I hate. The car drives and performs good but won't pass smog! Hahaha but you shouldn't worry, it's a toyota! It alway passes haha

 

i think they had a sticker. so what are you gonna do to pass?

 

The runner came with the headers and it has a sticker on the fire wall but California law is, it has to have it on the product so before I even smog I ask if ill pass and he says no. So I just swap it with the truck and now too lazy to swap it back. Maybe gona swap it next June when the truck needs smog haha hopefully it's not gona be a smog test only

 

they guy passed mine and i only had a sticker which i had hidden in the cab of the car because i didnt want to loose it. i was thinking of attaching a magnetic tape behind it and stick it under the hood next time i smog

if not ill have a plate made with the carb code and have it tacked to the header. its not like they see alot of 3.0 with headers lol

 

What I didn't get a notice on your comment haha my bad man. But I know what you mean only seen one 3.0 with headers all these years haha I think ima get a plate made for mines too. I don't want to swap them out every time I need to smog haha
