Ooo that much silicone can plug up oil passages causing that knock you have. If its fine metal you will be ok. If its little metal bits than something is wrong. Maybe bearings.

Hot? O yes it was super hot today! But under the truck feels kinda cooler. Haha when i crawled out and the sun beam hit my face i felt like a vampire burning away hahaha but got it done and sound is still there. Doesnt relly bother me just like to be on the safe side. I did take the truck camping and it did good. No problems at all

It was too hot yesterday in town so i left to the lake to cool off and found a pretty nice spot. Popped it in 4x4 and started driving over rocks and super soft sand and took a couple of snap shots

Glad to see you got things straightened out. I am hoping to get the fridge filled full of fish for the winter. As hot as it has been here, they just are not biting.

DrivIng down the highway at about 60mph and the truck started to rumble out of nowhere. I totally thought my bearing had spun. But not. Haha pulled over n one spark plug wire was hinging on the side and sparks was shoting out the cap.

Also fixed mu dome light. Only took me 3 years to get to it hahaha had a bad power contact. Sawthering didnt work well at all. Yhe plastic started to melt so i melted some wire and stuck it under the tap touching the metal plate? That goes to the bulb. can anyone see where it is?

And waaalaaa!!!

Only the "on" switch works not the door. Sometimes the door dont close all the way so i can live woth it haha

Ekk how the plug pop off? Glad it wasn't another bearing. The dome light is nice to have at night. I replaced the front one on mine with new lens. Made a huge difference, much brighter but stock bulb so the warm white color is easy on the eyes

YES, how did that happen???? lol

BTW, .... I stopped even looking at the LED's for now... the 2nd Gen 4runner Dome Housing fit and is working GREAT! (Same kind of switch as yours.... Mine works on the door, but not rubbing it in, just saying.... Curious why yours will not... Just the door button indicator thingymadoer? haha)... It's PLENTY bright... Bright enough to read from, bright enough to see in the back seat(more than before, oddly(?)... And yet, ...THE REAR? that's another story... That "Deck Lamp" must mean "1/25th Scale Model Boat-Deck Lamp" hahahah... Cuz IT'S WEEEEEEEAK! YET, it's better than nothing until I install another dome light kit with LED Festoon on the rear window wiper motor cover(has to be LED....or it will melt the plastic, I'M SURE OF IT! haha. Lil domes get HOT!

TOYO... you ordered a Dome Cover from toyota? Just figured you'd have to buy the whole apparatus. But it's just a cover, which often cracks/semi-melts, lol... So hmmm, lemme know? PLENTY of light now...but why not improve on it if I can, right?

The contact on the door switch is Corroded? Thats what happen on the "on" switch also but i used a sand paper and brushed it off i guess i didnt get all of it off. Haha. Whete did you get the len cover from. Itll be nice to have a good amount of light. I can just imagine your guy's runner with all that extra space where mines just a tiny cab. Haha

I had no clue how the spark plug wire slipped off.this was the second time already. Dam these after market wires. Got to get my hands on some oem wires.
