Flywheel was not surfaced. Should had done the whole thing while it was in front of my hands. Dang it. It's ok I decided to change the clutch before I get stranded on some dirt road and a big masculine guy wearing human faces come chasing me with his chainsaw haha still deciding to go with marlin 1200 or wabfab. I can't seem to find the clutch kit on wabfabs site did he stop carrying them?

Ok finally found the charger for my old camera. And saw the bumper pics in there. The TJM bumper came off an fj80 from the junk yard for 75 buck and it was too long. So you know what that mean. CUT N WELD TIME!!

As I got it.

Had to cut off the middle section cause that was the only part of the bumper that had a straight surface so when welding it, it'll line up...make sense? Haha took about 2 inches off on the end of that middle section laying on the ground

Here a better picture but more dark

Weld it up and grinding time with cool effects. Sorry about the quality

Didn't take much pictures of the grinding cause the camera didn't want to cooperate.
And it sits patiently waiting for the bumper to go on

Tada...With one of my Toyota signal light mod into it hehe

2 inch body lift. Also from the junk yard (free) it was three inches but I cut off an inch. With 33x10.50 bfg a/t

I have some pic on the computer too but not too sure I have to dig'em up. I'm using my phone to upload all this haha I'll post them when I find them

Went back to the stock bumper. The winch is in the way of the cheap mounts and its way to hot to be cutting the sheet metal with the torch so ima wait til the weather cools down just a little bit. O yea bumper is too heavy taking aprat and putting back on so stock one went on. So light i can carry it with one hand and im skinny haha i had to drag the TJM scratches

Haha no i was jk. Its still in the garage. I hope haha

i did somwhow develop a valve tapping. So gotta open it up and adjust it. N clutch slipping seem to have gone away. Main while, it seems to have gotten "alittle" worst on gas mailage or it can just be me. Havent reset the milage yet cause im doint the 500, 1000 miles oil change thingy. Haha

Yep, reset the valves and check the head bolts while in there....WTH, right? Having the valve lash off CAN mess with mileage... it's often overlooked as a cause of mileage woes. Hope that goes well, man.... I love my valve adjusting tool! Best gift I've gotten in a long time! haha.

Alright alrigt alright.... Haha i was gonna do a valve adjustment but i took a closer listen to the engine and instrad of tick tick tick, its thak thak thak. Its like rolling your R's. Makes me think its the rod or main bearing making the sound. Omgoodness! When is all these headach going to end  ima smog is before anymore engine tearing up is gonna happen.

Any trick anybody? I dont really want to tear it apart again. I might just drop the diff amd do the rod. And well see how that goes

Might try to hit a stethoscope on the block and pan and basically all over the bottom end to see if you can pin point the 'TWACK'.... Is it a slow thud? Or a quick/valve speed tick? Wrist pins can even sound like valves a bit.... But first of all, WOW, I'm sorry man! You're SURE it's not something stupid like a valve cover bolt too tight, etc.? (I know, that's pretty telling after you've been digging around in these for a while.. But still, worth hoping it's something simple, right? )

"trick", .....regarding? Dropping the diff to replace a bearing/rod? I know Jerry(92_Toy) rebuilt the entire motor inside the truck.... Might be a good place to start?

O uea forgot to say. After my first oil change the oil pressure reads lower than normal. Its good when cold but once it warms up its low. Oil psi is As if it was just idling at 2500 rpm. It only makes the sound when high rev, nothing at all when just idling. And also, the first 1 sec when starting the truck then after that nothing till i rev or drive.

I read on here about using aftermarket vs oem oil filters. Maybe throw on an oem filter? Im using a $3 fram right now.

Best wishes on the smog'n, guys hahahaa. Yeah, I'll just leave it at that.... Only adding; It's really bizarre... I mean, I have friends with cars/etc that STINK, smoke a lil... they still pass. Yet mine didn't and there wasn't a PUFF of smoke, at all....nor much stink comparatively! Oh well.... I'll not worry about it again for 2 years, lol.

Best wishes, Roger. Wish I could stop by and help out.. Just a lil too far! haha.
