I think the next time I am at the yards, some 90s trucks are going to be missing the light you are talking about. There has been a time or two that would be handy to have.

Soldered my resistors together today, but for some reason the numbers were wrong when ohmed out, so I said forget it and decided after playing with the locker their is no problem with sending 12v straight to the locker, I also jb welded my relays to the back of my dash right next to the leds,

On a side note welded my handles and shift forks together on the twin stick, i just have to weld a cover ontop of the shifter plate to keep debry out of the tcase, but I bolted it on my spare case and it works fine, just gotta buy a shifter boot, weld the plate and bolt it on.

I tried making some half doors a long time ago and stoped half way through them, because a better idea had come up after a cut one door in half so they wouldent match, well after talk to my brother this weekend I came up with a differant route and instead of welding a plate to the top I'm just gonna use a 2x4 I got the passenger side half way done on my lunch, but ran out of long peices of wood so my driver door will have to wait, I was trying to post a couple of pics of it but every pic I have exceeds the max 448kb allowed with this app so srry no pics

Thanks, I originally wanted to cut more off but decided on tht so tht the would still be a good arm rest, I kinda want to add a plate to the back so where it steps up to another horizontal plane it would just be a triangle all the way back to make it cove up som of the inner door jam but I'm a big fan of the shape they formed

As far as driving with them..... they are awsome all I wanted to do today was just drive around and enjoy the weather was around 75 today so it was great. Now my next project would have to make a lil mirror with a mount to bolt to the truck so I could completely take the doors off but man my I say I got a ˟˟˟˟ ton of looks today, a lot from people as if they never saw anything like tht before

So my cousin decided he finally wanted to start working on the white yota, so got a tiny bit done today, disconnected most of the electrical on top along with some of the vacuum lines then unbolted the upper intake and fliped it over the pass fender, then looked between the 2 engines and foundc some small differances. My newish engine came out of a 95? 4runner, found the thermostat housings are slightly differant, the 88I has a hos running off it to a metal pipe tht runs under the upper intake to another hose tht runs to the heater control valve while the 95 gets rid of tht hose at the thermostat and has it coming out of the back of the lower intake straight to the heater valve much simplier. Also the 95 has a vacuum operated valve tht opens the throttle next to the tps, but it looks like ill be able to use it so sweet, should have the old motor out tomarrow

So after my uncle came by this afternoon it was decided to stick with the old heater hose running and the old throtlebody, he believes it can affect whether or not it passes since it technically wasn't factory for my runner,

But got the old engine out, boy is it a pain in the arse I hate v6's never getting one again, got most of the parts transfered over to the new one, found out the motor mounts were differant, oil psi sensor was differant, alt plug, disy plug and the knock sensor plug, but to remove the knock sensor iu have to remove the lower intake, so gotta get a lower intake gasket tomarrow, the will swap sensors, bolt lower intake on then drop motor in truck, install starter, exhaust, torque converter, bellhousing, upper intake and some vacuum line and electrical o plus the radiator then should be able to start it, hopefully we won't run into any snags tomarrow

Haha ran into some problems yesterday as well but we got her running now I just have some small things to worry about, we found out tht the injector clips were diff so we swapped those yesterday, I just gotta set timing and a few other things and should be able for a test drive, won't touch it till this weekend though, the truck is a lil bit from me so not enouggh time to tinker with it after work.

Didn't get a lot done but got some done over the weekend.

welded tht top to my twin stick then filled the box full of grease to lube eveything, then painted and installed

Almost have to move the center consol, when in 4wd the shifter goes back right into the slot for quartes but it works, the only 2 flaws are tht: 1. My high-low shifter fork is slightly bent so sometimes it will grab both shift rails at the same time, so all I do when it happens is push the shifter to the driverside and shift. And 2. The metal handles hurt ur hands if u shift to much in a small amount of time. But after looking around every site wants around $30 for a rubber boot for the twin stick I found one site tht sells a generic one tht instead of having rectangle holes for the shifters has circle holes, and its like $7 so I'm thinking of buying tht and then cutting my shifter handles then makeing new ones with metal rods plus then it will be easier to put a know on them

Alsofound out how I want to run my elocker wiring, then cut wires long enough to go from the axle to the pass fram to the driver dash, then taped all 6 wires together and then soldered and heat shrinked one ende of them to my elocker plug

My next step is to wrap my wire loom around the wires tht will be outside of the body and run them up the ebrake cabel to the frame then aloong the fuel lines and fuel electrical then pop it through the floor with the fuel electrical then under the carpet to the pass dash then through the dash to the left of my steering wheel to where my switch and lights are

Got me some tires on sat, had to drive 120mi one way to get them but well worth it.
Got me 4 wild country 35x12.5x15 with rims for $120. Been loooking for a few months and finally found an awsome deal. 2 are 90% 1is 50% and 1 is 20% but still awsome

Don't have a pic of them yet but I will try and get one soon, so we put the tires on this morning and drove the truck around town and on the freeway, and they arnt that loud which is nice, the do have a bit of vibbration but they haven't been balance yet so not to bad, the only thing I found bad was just a lil bit ago when parking the truck with the truck completly turned all the way I just tap my front leaf spring in the back by the shackle, but I think tht will be fixed when I put these tires on my old black rims

I also plan to put my 31's on my white yota
