Ah I see, I think I need a slightly higher volume pump, it only really happens under a load like going over a hill trying to maintain a set speed but the motor will stutter unless I back off. It's not a huge problem it just seems as if the motor is being intermittently starved of fuel. Or I suppose I could quite trying to pull hills at 75-80...

That would make sense, what kind of fuel pump are you currently using?.....its nice being able to pull hills!

Right on, shouldn't be to bad of a fix, one little hiccup isn't to bad after all the work you've done!

Thanks for the input Chris, but I already bought this one a few months back from CFR Performance along with the shroud and 14" fan. I just need to buy a radiator cap, and a universal mounting bracket. This will most likely be my next project for the 4runner.

Great to hear you got power steering again. Being without it will make you more appreciative of it every time you use it now. It is always nice getting to cross out a To Do list.

Replacing the window regulator is easy to do. Just finding a good one can be the trick. My brother got one off of ebay and it has worked great for him so far. It was a new one and I am sure it is from Taiwan but so far no problems with it.

As far as the dash pad, I installed a perfect one in mine and it now has a hair line crack in it and you can see that the foam underneath is seprated already and just the vinyl is holding it together. I am about ready to try one of those covers that you can get off of ebay. Interior paint will do wonders on you interior.

^Thanks Terry! I'm pretty excited to finally have the power steering finished up, it wasn't that hard to do. I don't know why I put it off for so long! It is definitely more enjoyable to drive!

^Yeah I really need to get one, I found one locally for $22 at the pick-N-pull where I got the parts for my wife's Durango. They were listed as new, so probably made in Taiwan as well, but as long it works!

^I was thinking of trying one of those dash pad covers as well. I don't think I have the patience to try to refurbish mine.

No worries buddy, I know you've been busy! Its nice having power steering finally, wish I had done it sooner! So far it's working great, the port I plugged off isn't leaking, so I'm pretty stoked!

Thanks man! I wish I had washed it before the temp dropped, all the mud puddles have freeze dried, lol!

I checked my anti-freeze with one of those cheap testers yesterday, and it said it was good for +5°.....PANIC MODE!, it got down to around 10° last night, so I had to run into town today and pic up some anti-freeze, drained the radiator, refilled it & ran the engine and heater to circulate, still got to let it cool and retest it in a little while, talk about procrastinating, lol!

Seems like every year I get the antifreeze in at the last minute. My kids were excited to see snow today as well. They are hoping to get out of school. We just got a dusting. I have seen my snow for the year now, I am ready for spring. This is already starting to be a long winter already for most of the country. I hope it isn't not as long as last year.

We just got dusted as well, but it hasn't melted off yet due to the cold temps. I hear ya Terry, I'm ready for spring too, lol!
Since draining and refilling my radiator with anti-freeze, I now have a small drip coming from my drain plug. After setting overnight I caught a small amount in a bucket, same thing the next night. I wondering if I wrapped the threads on the plug with Teflon tape if that would help?...

You might get away with using the Teflon tape. I have had decent luck with doing the same thing on other vehicles.
