I see you mentioned Trail-Gear bumpstops. If the are the black ones that mount with a flat tab with two holes in it, then you'll want to find others.

I ran those in the rear of my extended cab years ago and they may as well have been made out of steel. Extremely harsh bottoming. You'd seriously be better off reusing some stock rear bumpstops up front. If you can find the room, the stock 90-94 4Runner bumpstops are very cushy and easy to mount with a long ass through-bolt and appropriate washers.

I finally get a new-to-me 90 4Runner to daily drive, so I just got done putting a welded front in the blue truck to match the rear. Let me know if you want to hit up some mildish trails in the plainfield area.

Been busy with other things lately..

Did a headgasket on my new DD (2003 camry auto 4cyl) which involved re drilling stripped head bolt holes in the block. Now, at 227k its back on the road and running strong.



Had to dump a bunch of money into my bike for new valve seals and upgraded oil pump/timing chain tensioners, which took most of June, and have been riding it every chance I get. Just over 6k miles this summer and counting.



BUT. I just got some Highsteer arms drilled out for 5/8 hemis.. and 2 coomplete 3rds with lockers, but one may be broken..

Sold my 4runner and got engaged, trying to buy a house. You know life stuff. So as soon as it gets too cold to ride ill start spending weekends in the shop again..

Didnt go the Toyota route.. I bought a kit from a company called TimeSert. Its like a super duty heli coil. Came with everything from the jig to the drill bits. Even came with a sharpy to mark the drill bits with haha. Highly recommend them. The car also got other things too, such as new timing chain, as the car was still on the original one at 220k

Ahhhhhhhhhh! As much as I love the convenience of my area, and it is very beautiful where I am in particular... I really miss living in North/East WA ..... Spokane- East Valley High! Haha. ... Post Falls Idaho and the like... I actually would love to find a place in Eastern Oregon.... Just don't have the time at the moment to even think about it! Darn family! Hahaha. .. You know I'm kidding. But, they will keep you local to them, in many cases, like mine, that's how it works.
