Thanks for the beers dude! And if you end up needing a new fuel pump bracket, you can use the one I'm taking out. It's a little rusty but if youre putting the tank in your bed you can keep an eye on it

Thanks man, Ill keep that in mind. And thanks for the tires, Im pretty happy to have a full sized spare now instead of that old 33. I can see the gas seeping down over, and when I felt around up there I pulled down so much dirt. Haha The tank itself is in ok shape so Im hoping its just a return line thats rusted. There isnt like a puddle, just a wet spot so I hope I can save it some how.

What started as fixing a small leak, ended up with relocating the tank to the bed. Everything under the truck is rusty. The tank skidplate was rotted off, all the bolts had to be cut or drilled out. It wasnt going back under there.

Painted it up, and made a quick and dirty angle iron mount to keep it in place, then extended the lines and wires. The filler neck has some rust holes, so when I find a replacement, Ill shorten it down so its not flopping all over. Haha. The tank is about 3" off the bed so so I can clean under it easily.

Hopefully I can get some action shots soon...

Is that filler neck the same as for a carbed tank? If so, I may have one or two kicking around down here. I actually have two 22r tanks down here in good shape-and both my trucks are EFI.

Got my new grill cut and on.

And started on my half doors.

They still need to have something welded over the top, but it was nice out and we wanted to wheel.

Had an argument with a couple trees and lost the back window... oops

Then had a few more arguments and and pushed the B piller in but the door still mostly closes. Haha

Workin on a few small vids....

Doors look awesome. Don't forget to add cup holders. Truck will look better with doors on IMO. Never like the doorless jeep look. Looks like u could use a Eco cage

Thanks!

I dont need cup holders..I have two in the dash, ones even dremeled out to fit a Arizona tee can, Im addicted.

I love running doorless because of the visibility, but need some protection from sticks and thorns and such.. I might not even run them that long.. I did some damage to the passenger side B pillar and now that door is pretty hard to close (see pics above) . Soon Im going to cut the whole top off and cage it, probably after I break the windshield. Haha . Something along these lines..

Bahh... function over fashion, plus I love the "open air" feel. It will get skinned with something, to many falling tree branches round these parts.

My 70CST Blazer(full convert.) had tabs and I mounted a Roof Rack overhead.... Already had roll cage, but right over the head was still open and prone to CAVING IN BY BRANCH OR MONKEY ATTACKS! hahaha.... It allowed plenty of sun and air through(when not loaded up) and kept my noggin safe. In Sequoias one time, we bumped, just barely, a redwood with this HUGE bumper it had up front with winch..... it knocked loose an 80 or so pound branch that fell RIGHT ON US, would have killed my passenger, most likely.... VERY glad I had been given that cage and then put it on! DON'T FORGET THE MONKEYS..... they like to jump right ON TOP OF YOUR HEAD.... so that's a factor too!

I havent touched the half doors again. The truck and my shop are about 45 min away from where I live, so I dont get down there as much as I like. But I have decided I need to cut more before I finish the tops up.

My 4runner needs some work before it gets too cold, so its been getting priority lately when Im in the shop.

Kid V huh... Im on to you. Haha! Good to see you over here too!

I hang out now and again. Now that I found your build thread I might wander by more often.

Chopping the cab would be sick, sounds like a great winter project!

Im still debating. I might just get marlins cage to protect me and my GF, take all the glass out and just keep denting it up.... That way its down less too. My club usually does about 3 snow runs a year.. and I LOVE SNOW WHEELIN. So I really dont want to miss those. HAha

And now that you have a buttload of parts on the way.. I think its time you started your own build thread...

The 4xi cage is sick.. but more expensive...

It would be cheaper to get the marlin cage then add what I want to it..

I dont know haha. Its probably not going to happen for a while...
