Couldn't find the picture you were refering to. Pretty sure the shafts have to be the right length for the transmission.

If you really just ment the shifter lever, this pic looks like they would interchange.

The arms that put the t case in neutral 2wd and 4wd is what he's referring too. When you pull the t case shifter off, those 2 arms.

Not much difference between the tranny and transfer, but I fixed the link above anyway I think I know which picture he was refereing to but I still don't see it. Yeah the shorter ones would work so long as the shift fork fits on them... *shrug* You tell us Do the shorter ones fit

Ive been researching the sdori and 4crawler websites on ball joint spacers and the diff drop kit too. The diff drop kit seems like a good idea as for extending the life of the cvs and reducing the angle. However the kit looks like something i could fab up myself (spacers and longer bolts) but 4crawlers are nice cnc shiny aluminum it looks like. As for after installing the balljoint spacers i was reading up on alignment procedures and having to mess with the torsion bar adjustment. If this is the case it looks like i better spray a half a can of pb blast on the torsion bar hardware and adjustment hardware due to the fact its probalbly never been touched. Also the instructions also talked about shimming the front shocks and bumpstops?

Im trying not to spend to much on the front lift cause eventually id like to put this 85 axle in when i get the dough for the kit, then ill reuse the ifs stuff on my 88 truck.

Well.... looks to be a nice day outside and a old barn is getting bulldozed down this coming week and ive been pulling the boards off. They seem to be popular and sell well (sometimes $10 a foot!!!) with the crafty craftersons out there so any way to make extra $$$ for the build!!!

buy used bj spacers and what not if you plan on selling it for a solid axle. no reason to pay full price and only get half what you paid when you sell.

used ball joint spacers are usually sold by the time i findem.. plus id feel more comfortable knowing there a reputable dealer. I see the ebay crap out there and am not very sure if i trust a china suspension component especially something connected to a balljoint. By the way i polished up my frontend and was suprised how well the 20+ yr old chrome shined up.

Well ive hopefully gathered up about $300 for frontend parts after i sold about 50 hedgeposts. I plan on getting 4crawler bj spacers and diff drop kit and upper n lower balljoints.

I also was wondering if it would be a good idea (which im sure it is) to have my injectors tested. I see RC eng does it? Feed style option would be top rail feed correct?? So is it $24.95 for all four?? And i just box them up and send them?? Kinda stupid questions probalbly but ive never had injectors tested othe than doing a resistance check with a ohm meter. It says theyre cleaned balanced and calibrated within 24hrs.Ahhhh... it says $24 to $28 per injector. Thats a $100 i could spend on other parts. So is it worth it or what?? I did a resistance test and all were relatively the same resistance, i have a feeling they would be fine.

If anyone has any 1.5 bj spacers, diff drop kit, swaybar drop kit etc... pm me for im always looking to buy used or possible trades (surplus of toyota parts)

I would say its a good idea to get them tested and cleaned/rebuilt. Especially since you are building a fresh motor to go in. I saw an engine with a bad injector that kept dumping fuel into a cyl, and the rings on that particular cyl never seated.

Ill keep an eye out on my end for some b.j. spacers and diff drop for you.

i would have the injectors sent in and rebuilt. no need to bend a rod with a leaky injector or a miss because its clogged.

i think i will look for ome n98s for the front off their nitrocharger line. Im running stock bumpstops so it will have 2" longer stroke, but still will be able to compress fully.
