I didn't know that someone made a wiring plug adapter, that's cool, who did you get that through?

One guy told me that it depends on which side of the bed they get up on. You just never know. I had one that was rude to me and I had done a lot of business with him and I left determined to never to go back. So happened I needed a part he had and he was the nicest guy in the world that day. You just never know what you are going to deal with.

Them and the parts stores are getting so high, I have been able to find parts on line or craigslist has been a big help on finding parts for better prices. Last salvage charged me what it would cost from a parts store for a part. They are cutting their own throats.

I too would be interested in the adapter as I eventually want to do the upgrade.

I tried transferring a photo of the adapter...didnt work.

Go to alternatorparts.com PART #461804. For GM's CS series alternators to Toyota wiring. It cost me around $20 and theres no way i could of made this myself, and way better than cutting your harness.

Kornhusker has very little computer skills and it impresses me that he can find stuff like this. Someday his computer skills will match his chainsaw skills. Watch out!

You speak the truth!!!It is very very cold here. 6degrees w 25 to 30mph winds which is like 35mph wind chill. I blocked off the radiator with some particle board so the runner runs warmer. Starts like a champ all the time though.

Hey kelvin i hope your audi is ok.

Went to kansas. picked up a trail gear sas kit minus springs and shocks but has high steer kit.All new. $400. All was going well i took my moms vw passat for mileage. bad idea. it started getting oil in the coolant. Would get like 2.5 qaurts of oil in the cooling system within 50miles. Had to pay a towtruck driver $100 to bring me OREILYS 10W30 5QT JUG of oil 11mi so i could get the car to the nearest town to check it out. It was puking the oil out the coolant reservoir. I bought 10 qaurts of oil and kept on goin, made it another 50mi and it started to overheat due to the oil taking over the cooling system. finally called for help and trailered it home the remaining 60mi. I did some research and i guess the oil coolers are known for failure. NOTE no coolant in oil, no smoke.but oil in coolant.

Anyways it was worth it, i got 5"greasable shackles, dropped pitman arm, front spring hangar, high steer, shock hoops, gussets, rear spring hanger tubes, and axle gusset for $400. All brand new never installed. So i need springs and shocks and ill have it complete. I have intentions of putting it on my 87 truck cause i know once i do it ill test it and have some fun and dont want to take it out on the runner body.

Oh yea, kansas state trooper said i got raped on tow call for the oil, said he woulda went and delivered it for free!!! TOWTRUCK BILL 5qrts oil $20 service call on a saturday....$45, mileage for 22miles with a new f150 $35. dude made a great sale!!!
