Thanks outlawred!!much appreciated.

Sent my injectors off to houston tx (rx injector) for cleaning and flow test. $18 per injector and $12 shipping. Once i get them back i will finish installing the upper intake, set the tps(which i highly dislike), install new thermostat and radiator hoses. Have to go see Gizler and get an auto radiator(thanks mark!!)
Also still debating on what fuel pump to get. And i need a fuel sending unit too.Its so nice out today you would definetly be able to take the top off the runner.

The past few days have been nice here as well, but tomorrow we get snow flurries I am itching to take the top off as well. Fresh injectors should make a nice difference. I get my fuel pumps off of ebay. A lot cheaper and never had any problems with them.

The radiator hose that goes from the water pump to the horse shoe pipe can be made from one that the parts stores sell. It needs to be cut but is an exact fit.

Copied from 88s build.
Parts store will tell you this is a dealer item or they dont stock it. This hose likes to leak coming off of the water pump when it pops a hole. Gates PN#20801, just cut off where my finger is at. Alot cheaper then the dealer.

Good info on the Coolant hose Terry!! I love being able to make something work without going to the dealer.

We are supposed to get snow up here in Omaha/Council Bluffs as well today. The forecast says today through Friday snow!!! Im ready for the warm weather, as I am with you on wanting to remove the Top!!

Thanks for the info on the radiator hose Terry!

Yes the snow has come and gone again. The boy accidentally knocked the downspout off the gutter when putting away his soccer net and the rain found its way in the basement so ive been dealing with that most of the day but did get a little work done on the runner last evening. I installed new plug wires, need to make some looms to keep them outta the way of things. Also wired up the alternator and realized id robbed the coil off this thing when i sunk my truck in the river last summer. That wasnt the problem on the truck, and i eventually found the original coil with the cool plastic cover included! I broke one of the coil mount bolts that goes through the fender and had to drill it out. Im also gonna have to freshen up on the egr delete, like what sensors you dont need etc... i know theres details on this in threads ive read in the past just cant recall off the top of my head. Ill be expecting my injectors back maybe Monday????? dunno, but then ill finish the upper intake and wiring. Also on the power steering pump...do you plug the ports on the vacuum sensor or do you still utilize it after egr delete???

Lol...My boys cause me some home repair time as well. Just hit my funny bone when you said that. You will want to run your vacuum for the power steering to the plenum.

On the EGR, I will need to look but the one that goes to the bottom of the brown egr valve, I think you plug. I plugged mine with a screw if I recall that being the correct one.

Spaghetti has a better design then my plug wires. One day I too would like to get mine looking descent.

Finished installing the swaybar drop kit and new links, i had to drill out the drop blocks a little to get the bolts to line up on the frame.I also soldered another broken wire to the ac compressor.

Looking great Chris!

On the ps lines in your photo, I've seen where people just leave them unhooke like they are right now in your photo.

When I deleted my egr, I took the whole thing out and plated the head, then used the downtube from te intake to make a plate for the intake. Then I have a header so I had the plates for the header/manifold egr outlets on te exhaust side of the head.

Hey, I have an electric motor, like one for a grinder or to run a pulley, that you can have for that rotisserie if you want.

Im gonna atleast get some rubber plugs when deleting the egr so i dont have to do the ol' vac line with a wood screw! Thanks on the motor Mark! Ill be heading your way later, so i finally get to see your runner in person i hope!!

No injectors yet, so hopefully theyll be here the beginning of next week.

Yes as Mark stated im building a small rotisserie for my fuel tank to spin it and knock the rust out of it. Ill post some pics when i get it finished hopefully tonight

Dude! Had a great time today. We need to hang more often. I'm glad the radiator you were able to use the radiator. Seriously can't wait to see it up and running.

Just curious, what exactly are they doing to your injectors? Couldn't you soak them in acid or vinegar? Iv'e never heard of that before.

Finish , he sent them out to be flow tested and rebuil if possible. I think they do some kind of ultrasonic cleaning procedure on them and basically make them like new again as long as they are not to bad.
I'm going to be sending mine out soon as well.

Mark , had a great time hangin out for awhile. The radiator was a direct fit! Hoses worked too.

Last night i finished the rotisserie and its working! The rust is breaking loose and is cleaning up. Today i will get some white vinegar as Terry stated and add it to my recipe of glass shards!

What do you put in the gas tank to break the rust up? Rocks and paper weights? Looks good.
