i just need, well, um... some 35's. and if i get 35's, i'll need to re-gear. and while i have the diff cracked, i might as well throw in an air locker. then i'll need oba. to run that, i should put in dual batteries. and to charge those i need a bigger alternator. then i can put more lights on, and while i'm at it, i can make the rig look like a rally truck. so i'll need some fiberglass fenders and 35's...wait a minute...

a bit of his bumper still stuck in my wheel weight. oh yeah, i need a new wheel (it got bent a little bit)

i wish i had a rivet gun. then i could make some quick work of this

Just another idea...stud welder and slide hammer from Harbor Freight about $79.00. You should be able to pull the dents enough to finish with kitty hair and then a light finish coat of Rage gold. Then you will need paint. You have a link to the wrecking yard search? http://car-part.com

yeah, i got that. thanks. i'm probably not going to buy any more tools, but things do change
also waiting to hear back from insurance, as this may be a no-fault collision (seeing as it was snowing), so this could change things

this weekend i'm going to bang my fender from the rear. i'm going to see if i can't get it at least somewhat smoothed out
i also contacted toyota-fiberglass in canada, and got a few prices. they're booked for the next few months, but i'm in no hurry. i just want to get this insurance thing done (and done right)

DAYUM, ......1600$-2300$ for dem beds??? fhewwwwwwwww-thump! That was me hitting the floor!lol But, hey, it would lighten it up enough to make up for the aparatus you're doing in the bed, right? lol. Actually, it seems reasonable for what it is. Best of luck with whatever you decide to do, Ian!

i got the email back from the guy, and he said that it wold weigh about the same as a steel bed. it made me think for a minute, but i guess if i wanted it to be strong, it would need to weigh a bit more. at least it's not heavier.
and i may just live with a banged-out dent for a while until either i a) save up enough to replace the bed, or b) get a raise (not likely). somewhere down the road i'll need a new bumper, so i'll need to save up for that, too

"And FOR ONLY THE NEXT 10 MINUTES, ...when you order POPS-A-DENT, you'll also get a case of POLIDENT! NOOOOOOOO, don't ask your children what they think.....JUST ORDER, NOW, NOW, NOWWWWW, before they're all gone and your teeth fall out on the coffee table.....shattering it in a million pieces!!!!!!!!!! What will the kids think then, ehhhhh? ORDER NOW, MR. FINKLESTIEN!" ..........SORRY, just had a creative late night moment, lol. For some reason, when I watched that....Polident is the first thing that POPPED in my mind.
BTW, how long do you think it will be before someone approaches you in a parking lot, Ian, saying, "HEYYYY, wanna fix those dents, right nowwwwwww? We can do that, cherry, for about, ohhhhh, FOR YOU?......200$!!!!" Those guys are driving around EVERYWHERE in L.A., lol. Those guys and the guys with the speakers. "My boss overstocked us and we have these 18" cerwin vega's for 5$!!!!" lol.
