ah-ha... ah-ha... ha...





so, i got my flywheel back, put the puller to good use (bearing came out), and rear oil seal housing is off. good stopping point for tonight.

anything else? nope. but i will need to go home and grab the last bit of stuff from marlin, "out for delivery" right now.

@rmp- yeah, ian is getting snow. a bit under an inch, but it's supposed to rain and clear it up later today. but i don't care... i have a heated garage

Great news,........ just be gentle getting that sucker back in there, get to that 1/2" point, then start all the bolts and crosspattern-sequence them things in lil portions until it's DUNNNNN-DU-DUN-DUN-DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! HAVE FUN, BE SAFE!

OH, btw, .... Is Ian going to be finished this afternoon? hahaha.

maybe. i'm not going to rush it, but i have the flywheel in and torqued now. next is clutch, p-plate, trans, x-member, driveshafts, shifters. not too much more

so it's been a bit more of a pain than anticipated, so the tranny gets bolted in tomorrow.

plan for getting it lined up: bolt the trans mount to the cross-member, bolt the cross-member to the frame, do not bolt the trans to the mount. that way everything should be fairly lined up (side-to-side, up-down, axially). we shall see.

and i have a few pics from today, i'll upload them a bit later
