Thanks Terry, I'm really happy and look forward to the rest of my life with her.

Yes, I just don't agree with more laws for those of us who like to shoot for target practice or keep around for who knows what. I don't even hunt, just like to keep my shooting skills up for when I may ever need them.

I think the likely scenario for Californian's is a massive earthquake and you'll need to secure your home and belongings until the troops have everything secured, which could be weeks or months. It won't be like japan after the tsunami here in the los angeles area. The low life illegal weapon carrying scum around here will see it as an opportunity to steal, murder, rape, and sabotage anything they can during the chaos. I seen it happen in panama in 89' and during the L.A. riots in 93'. I don't think a pistol or bolt action rifle is going to be enough when these scum work in gangs of 5 or more.

WOOOW Looking good! Congrats again, Greg

Agree. I don't plan to own soon (because my wife shoots a better grouping than me - LOL!), but the simplistic gun control law the government has in mind will only keep law-abiding citizens un-armed, and criminals armed.

I never owned a gun before. But I did get a chance to have target practice with my older brothers Rifle when we visited him in the marine base once. That was pretty sweet.

Your wedding photo turned out nice. Having the right spouse sure makes life great.

I took my step son and showed him how to shoot and after awhile he could out shoot me. I can usually do really well. Then I got him a bow and arrow and I really think he has a talent for that. My brother who has hunted with bows doesnt take shots until the deer are less then 20 yards and has gotten some alot closer then that even has a tough time staying ahead of him in competition.

I would like to see him get back into it and has thought about it. Now with my eyesight going down hill, I dont think I would have a chance against him. Each younger generation is missing out on alot of recreation oppurtunities that are out there. Last week my two kids where out chasing a skunk with their BB guns. Surprisly they didnt get sprayed. I tried to get a video of it but was to dark as skunks are nocturnal. They have been snipe hunting, they didnt care for that. That is where you leave out in the woods and have them look for an animal that doesnt exist. Found some funny videos of snipe hunting on the net.

Grego, WOW, that is a great pic!!! X434..... Congratulations! And again, as said , u guys look great! It's important to have at least one pic that u both just LOVE! I'm guessing that is it, otherwise you'd not be posting it, Lol.

Obviously, the pic isn't THE most important 'part' of the wedding, hahaha, but that is something sooooooo crucial to go right.... At least, if u don't want the bride to go all wetworks on some photographer,....Well then, ... It's up there! Lol.

Very much understand ur point regarding the "M13 has a huge Arsenal...yet we get charged for owning firearms... WHAT THE cancer of the logic gland? ? ?".... Images of Governor Moonbeam and Mayor Freeloaderragosa, dancing around a camfire, firing off confiscated weapons, filling my head right about now, lol

I would LOVE to learn to bow hunt....just not popular around here. I've been thinking about getting one and just taking some lessons.

Thanks for the compliments guys. That's just a pic a family member took....lol. I don't know when the professional pics are going to be ready. But I'll post a couple when we get them.

Yeah, the professional pics often can go bad or even be lost or destroyed.... NOT OFTEN, shouldn't say that... BUT, .......you've heard the stories, I'm sure, haha... Just saying, that's a great pic! And, you've very welcome... Your marriage should be complimented, GREATLY! And, well, as should your WORK on the Candy Apple Betty! lol..... She's a BEAUTY, .... and as I said, the work you do is VERY inspiring.

Glad you're so happy, Grego.... I look forward to one day, again, finding someone to share the rest of my journey with (So that's also inspiring)....

She's a beautiful girl!

Grego - I saw your paint work in RADs thread so I checked our your build, just read thru all 6 pages. All I can say is wow...you have done some great resto-mods. Very inspiring to see how you restored those door cards.

Congrats on the wedding, as Terry said, the right woman makes everything so much better.

Grego,
Got the bezel. Looks great! What shame to cover it up Thank you so much.

Yeah, Coryc85; that graphite color on Grego's wheels and on my shifter door bezel is just my kind of color; elegant but without glitz or asking to be stolen.

...the right woman makes everything so much better.
You got that right!

Someone posted this on the camry forum, so I'm putting it here for future reference whenever I may need to try it and for others to try/comment.

"Machinist's Workshop" recently published information on various penetrating
oils. The magazine reports they tested these products for "break out
"torque" on rusted nuts and bolts. A subjective test was made of popular
penetrating oils, with the unit of merit being the torque required to
remove the nut from a "scientifically rusted" bolt.

Average torque load to loosen nut:
No Oil used ........................516 foot pounds
WD-40 ..................... ........238 foot pounds
PB Blaster .........................214 foot pounds
Liquid Wrench ......................127 foot pounds
Kano Kroil .........................106 foot pounds

ATF/Acetone mix...................... 53 foot pounds

The ATF/Acetone mix is a "home brew" mix of 50/50 automatic transmission
fluid and acetone. Note this "home brew" released bolts better than any
commercial product in this one particular test.

Thought I'd update my thread even though I haven't done much at all. But soon!

Went to the yard and came across an 82' Supra. Grabbed the AFM, which was in great condition and not screwed with. The person had already drilled out the cap so the Idle Adjusting Mixture Screw can be tweaked if wanted. Not sure if I want to do this as a project or sell it, I'll have to think about it for a while.

Purchased a Trasharoo. I had a little backpack strapped to the tailgate in the same manner which was great for holding my tie down straps for my kayak. This thing is much much larger and better quality...will come in handy when camping.

Figured out a cheap way on how to mount some rear speakers behind my seats. T100's came with these woofer boxes....only one per vehicle, so gotta find another one since I'm just mounting speakers inside them.

And finally my upcoming project....replacing my front rotors and pads, and repacking the bearings.

Hadnt heard of the Trasharoo, that would come in handy. Front brakes are great to work on but that back brakes I think I could figure out nuclear science alot easier. But they do say brakes are kind of important. lol
