GOOD GRIEF, that's hard to believe it's the same one! Wanna come help me with a couple "plasti-repair" jobs? hehehe. GREAT WORK! Now you just need the 1st Gen to slap it in... and you're GOLDEN!

I just read this from page one to five. You do really good work and I wish I had the attention to detail that you have lol!

Do you know what make/manufacturer your truck seat covers are? My upholstery is pretty bad and those look like a nice clean fit!

Thanks guys. Yup, just need a Gen1 4runner now!

Toyo, I'll keep an eye out for you at the yards for one of those things.

Rad, Yes, used that Duplicolor Vinyl paint, good stuff. Heard the SEM stuff is good too.

Cmayer, those are Coverking Neoprene covers and fit very well. They are similar to Wet Okole's, being neoprene material but alot cheaper in price. You can get them on Costo online if you're a member. They always seem to go on sale, so if you're not in a hurry try and wait. I think I paid $149 for the set, most other places I seen them for $199. I also noticed they now sell two other materials at costco online.

Thanks Hilux....it was my first ever vehicle and bought brand new as soon as I got out of service, so this is special to me.

Just got done going thru your thread and you have done an excelllent job on your truck. Every project was done extremely well. It is nice to see you taking such great care of it and someday will be able to know what a 92 Toyota looks like. I like your write ups of what you have done and those were written well.

My 86 Runner spent alot of time on the beach and alot of sand gets inside of the frame. I used an air hose and got a lot out and thought I had it cleaned until I took a water hose to it. Wow!! I bet I got 2 to 3 pounds of sand out of it. Just trying to help you protect your frame, but being in California that probably wouldnt be an issue for you.

Great thread.

Congratulations Grego. I remember you had mentioned the wedding was coming up. You're a lucky man. Look forward to seeing some pix if you post any.
BTW i agree with Terry. I love the detail work you do and the write ups. Without your threads i probably wouldn't have ever even thought of rebuilding my door panels

Nothing going on with my truck...but went to the yard and found a 1985 runner that was pretty badly stripped already. Salvaged this passenger side door panel, window crank, and arm rest....and also the seat levers. The 85' panel is shorter than the later ones.

Terry or Jason, I thought maybe you guys could use them? couldn't remember if one or both of you had brown interiors or not. Super cheap for you guys!! since I enjoy your threads so much Otherwise I will put it up in the classifieds.

Wow, Grego.... Stanton yard? I've been wanting to get back over there, but the 87 or whatever they had would have been stripped by now(12/15/12) lol....

How you been, man?

Hey Mark, yea the stanton yard, must've been there a while already stripped pretty badly, but at least got Ray the part he needed. I just couldn't leave that panel there to get trashed....someone will need it.

Called Richard today because I found his rear bumper for his corolla at the yard in Monrovia....so he's good to go now. I had already pulled it by the time he showed up to get it.

Thanks Grego.. I appreciate the offer. I have some panels and I plan on starting a build on my 85 extra cab this coming Friday and still not sure which colors I will be doing. I have several vinyl panels, it is the cloth panels that I just dont have much luck in finding. Really appreciate the offer.

I have been little by little getting rid of my 79-83 and 89-95 parts as it is just too much to keep from gettig mixed up with my 84-88 parts. It will be spring time before I get out and get them out of the shed. I did have a perfect dash but it did get a crack sitting in the attic. If there is something you might need, let me know. I have mostly interior and tail lights left. You could have it for the cost of shipping. The only thing I would charge for is a Lund Sunvisor and I got it for $75 as that is what I paid for it and never installed it. It is new and never used. It came from the factory in white so would need painted.

Guessing you are married now from the above post. Congrats. Single life is great but having the right one sure makes life greater, think you will enjoy it.

Seen you mentoning on RAD thread about buying some guns. With this new congress coming in and all the things that have happened lately, they are bound to do the best they can to take our guns away from us. I just got an email from a friend about what happend to Austraila and if Obummer had it his way, that is what he would like for us to do as well.

I use to do alot of deer hunting, but everywhere I hunted has been developed now, but me and the wife do like to go the the practice range and have competition shooting. When I get one sighted in, I generally do really well. Just getting one sighted in can take me forever.
