well a bit of fixing tonight

my blower resistor coil arrived what a PITA to put in with my bad shoulder but its in an working ive got more than one fan speed

my oil pressure gauge stopped working i knew it was the wire again so went out pulled the short extension off an started checking it an sure enough wire in the connector was decayed so rebuilt that soldered wires an tada working again

decided to check the cargo light connector see if it had power after cleaning it trying various switch positions
its working now least with the cargo light switch on in the dash an running lights on need to do the rear light in the wiper housing mod

the rear wiper arm i had several parts for but nothing intact the end was bolted to the top the arm an its bits were in my parts i started looking i think all the parts are there just someone took it apart

anyone got one off the top that they can see how the spring an bolt is inside is there anything i might be missing?

My laptop is down and I am on the hunt for a new one so keeping up isnt as easy for me.

I will take a look at my top and see if I can find anything on it. I still have not put my rear wiper back on from painting mine.

I believe the 2nd gen rear wipers are the same. Correct me if I'm wrong Terry? I see those all the time... Well, at least when I was over there more often I did. But I'm sure there's at least three of those 2nd gens on the lot at this very minute. That's a low guesstimate.

Nice work, Will!

Terry you outta look into all those Black Friday specials. There are some decent deals out there for about $3-400 right now.

Also check eBay. Anything with at least 4gb of ram over 2.1Ghz processor or higher(intel is better / but AMD is also good; I'm running an AMD phenom tripple core processor at 2.4GHz and it does great) and depending on how much music, videos, and pix u store I'd recommend at least 500gb hard drive.

Anyway that's enough of me ranting on lol good luck man.

well if it dont looks like the wires (seen this on a couple others on YT) they literally fail at the connectors as the strain relief fails that holds the wire to the window as it goes up an down so it flexes at the wire/connector joint instead i replaced the connectors an fixed the issue with not only electrical tape but couple zip ties around the wire and the factory plastic relief so if the tape fails the zip tie will hold it

Dayummmmm, I'd be having gato tacos that night! Lol.... It's so bizarre the things that trigger them to pee on something... I had a cat that was doing that in a corner on this burlap sack of Music... It was one of those decorative/lined things my sister made for my mother back in school... Anyway, the cat would just go nuts near that thing open its mouth and everything... I didn't know that it was peeing on it, but one day I walked by and it was literally spraying on the bag! Thank God it was lined or it would have stunk up all my mother's old music...

The day that we left Big Bear, that next morning there was plenty of snow and it was around five degrees until 10 a.m. I just watched a video not long ago that happened to be on the dates after we left. We missed it by one day Richard! It gets very freezing up there, over 8,000 feet... Snow all over the place and lots of the lake freezing up. Would certainly make for some fun wheeling, we gotta get you down here, Will! Lol...

Sorry about the vibration situation... Have you lived the front driveshaft really well? Even though they don't move much they can get pretty gummed up and the grease can become very hard, also laying on the bottom of the drive shaft... 35 is a pretty good trek in 4 wheel drive... But there should be no vibration for shuttering. You'll get to the bottom of it buddy... My guess is going to be a u-joint, especially considering the weather up there. Get it lubed and see if that solves it a little bit. If it quiets down, you can sometimes narrow it down if you do one zerk fitting at a time.

From time to time does pinion bearings can get sloppy as well.

well we checked the driveshaft when we've been under there it seemed fine no play MIGHT be stiff grease
might be one of the CV shafts
up here they sand "only" the places you have to stop at or hills no salt unless ice sheets the road i kinda needed the extra Umph to get up the hills which she did good just little more than 35 an it got that vibration

oh an it stuck in 4hi had to push an shove on the stick an finally it clunked out back to 2 wheel (id come to a full stop)

I still need to get around to getting my laptop fixed but it has been working somewhat recently. I reloaded it with the cd and somehow it keeps coming up with a corrupt file. I am seeing if I can get another Installation CD or will just get another laptop after Christmas.

Here is my rear wiper. I tried to take the picture in one but it wouldnt show the details. If you are needing an inside shot of the motor area, it will be a little bit as the plastic tabs started to snap on me as it is brutally cold an even the heater wont warm them up enough to make them a little more flexible.

Here is at the pivot point.

The spring just hooks into a hole in the piece that is attached to the wiper.

I am guessing the cold weather is keeping you inside the house. Dont blame you, we are having cold weather here as well. I am ready for winter to get out of here.

Actually, I did read that you said it all melted... Is that a good or a bad thing? When I lived and nasty snow conditions, near the Canadian border, rain or just big meltdown always meant nasty ice and a bunch of wrecks.
