LOL goin to school in santa cruz i loaded 4 in the front seat 5 in the back surfboards on the roof an 3 more bodies in the trunk LOL she was dubbed the battleship
this isnt hers but its a picture of exactly the same look

car saved my bacon one night she sent me up for something to the local store an like a good driver at 2am i waited at the light it changed i looked an then went on half way through the intersection i got hit right centered on the passenger rear wheel by a drunk i woke up sitting in the passenger seat feet on the driverside the entire drivers side was submerged in the canal engine still running i drove it out of the ditch an parked it in the stores lot i looked over an the 78 ford LTD was sitting there at the intersection frame snapped just behind the engine which was spewing its life fluids all over theres more to it but suffice to say he hit me doing 95mph an i didnt have a scratch the caddie well.. rear pass door never opened again bent the wheel but she drove home after i got the skirt out of the tire an bent the fender off the tread i was more afraid of mom wreckin her car was a death sentence LOL

well with all the bent she had im not surprised things dont fit exactly this IS shadetree repairs
drivers side lower corner i had to use a big zip tie through the body hole an then another to pull it into place but a majority of the clips snapped right into place

then kris comes in hey ya know what we should do cut a hole in the skid plate get some 1/4" angle iron an box the center up for a front receiver hitch to slide a winch into an then remove it when not needed thus why the skid plate is hanging there

i was working on the bumper brackets trying to get them straightened out an aligned drivers side needs a pair of washers on the top bolt to get it out where it belongs

also looking at pounding out the dents an ect smooth it out best i can an then do a bit of bondo then paint that bad boy black then all i'll need is end caps you look closely you can see where it crushed back an hit the steering box (round dent)

Gotta love a trunk you can fit 4 bodies in, and a car made outta steel I remember those!

Front end looks great. Not to point out a flaw that maybe bugging you, but check the line with the hood down anything more than a half inch or so along the top and the laymen might notice. You might want to bang out the support some more before you get to much further on filling up the engine bay.

I think there maybe something wrong with me, I saw the dented up bumper and thought "that'd be fun" and not in a sarcastic tone

well the angle is odd as im taking a picture out over some sawhorses, the hood isnt tight yet as we still need to put the engine in the fenderlines are the best i can do with what ive got if you look back in my build/rebuild you'll see how bad this was in the drivers corner it was down 3inches an shoved back at least that much it bent the drivers fender so bad i couldnt reuse it the inner fender was folded on itself in creases nothing like a 1T chain hoist hooked to the bucket of a 57 international crawler an the front wheels of the runner chocked on curb stones to pull things back out

if the grill is a bit off "shrug" i dd the best i could

after much pounding with hammers body hammers hand dollys going to the anvil grabbing a board an the vice a quick test fit an application of a 5 lb deadblow hammer to get the thing out of the grill on the drivers corner the filler strip the mounting tab on the drivers side is snapped off so have to get kris to weld it back to together

Good god no! APRIL FOOLS PASSED ALREADY! STOP KIDDING AROUND. I've seen a red 4runner that did that and it looked soo tarded. Not even funny.

Edit: well who knows. It was a pretty bad paint job too so you might be able to pull off a clean look . Just remember, almost like what Mark said, too much of something isn't always a good thing.

That's why I did my calipers red. I wanted something to stand out like eye candy because My whole truck is charcoal grey and black.
Anywho look forward to see qhat you choose to do.
