Thanks! It might be for sale next season if anyone has any interest.
It was on it when I bought it. If anything at all is needed I imagine relocating a body mount.

Yah when we set the valve lash it was cold, but we did .007 and .011 and it was nice and quiet at first. Then it got louder so I readjusted warm. Still loud as hell. Just asked Ted at engnbldr and he said with the 268 he recommends .007 intake .009 exhaust. So if I have time tonight I'll adjust to that and see how it goes.

If I had a truck, I would buy that camper in a second!

I wouldn't say it sounds like a diesel but it just sounds like a louder sewing machine that it typically does.
The first time that I got it running it was louder and I pulled everything back off rechecked all of my measurements hot and they were perfect. That was when I inquired about the Cam and the noise from it. And others told me that it is a little noisier than normal. I am not certain if the 261 cam makes noise but from what kirnhuskerwizard said it does not.

That canister is the resonator that hooks up to the stock intake tube. The smaller one that clips to the larger intake tube.
The older 22re's don't have that.
I would imagine you could remove it without any issues

Sweet. That suckers gone!
Well, heres what I did last night.

In case anyone wants to do the mod I'll save you some headache. You only need to unscrew the 3 screws in red. Pull the 1 black and 2 red wires off their leads. Carefully break the solder on 3 leads (yellow arrow) then remove 4 screws on the front plastic plugin port. Pull the port out. Now you can carefully pull out the circuit board. Then just swap the other board in. Tighten screws. Solder those 3 connections back on. Connect wires. Presto. I unscrewed a bunch of unnecessary crap so hope that helps someone.
Can't wait to install it.

Only 1982 Supra MAF's are plug and play. Instead of scouring the earth for an expensive 82 I bought a cheap 85 and swapped the circuit board. I know it looks identical but the part numbers on the boards r different. Thats why. :-)
Thanks dood!
